Nice freezer
This freezer was recommended by consumers reports,popular mechanics, and others. Was delivered quicker than scheduled,and runs very quiet, I ran it for 1 hour empty and achieved -16 degrees. Haven't had it long but first impressions are good.

Damaged upon arrival. Shame on Walmart.
I read reviews about this being damaged on arrival. I too got unlucky and after opening the box found the lid of the unit had a corner with two significant dents. No scratches though. It almost seems like Walmart intentionally is selling damaged goods. This should be sold with more transparency. The box seemed fine so I don't believe this happened in transit. I think these are damaged good being sold as new and quite frankly that's criminal.
