Purchased to cool one level of house more. It's easy to setup and run.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the portable AC from Midea Company for free in exchange for writing an honest review. I use portable AC because my daughter's room is above a garage and it is very hot all summer. Our home AC system can't do a job well in this room. This AC has some cool features I found useful: 1. It has a very compact size and fits well in a small room 2. It isn't loud, so we are using it at night 3. Easy to install because of the clear user manual. 4. It downed room temperature by 10F just in 20 minutes. 5. Made of good quality materials and looks pretty durable 6. It has its own app and voice control, which is very convenient and impressive. You can dynamically adjust the temperature while sleeping for each hour; set up your favorite modes and have one-touch activation for it; and program a schedule of how the AC will operate. 7. It has a dehumidifier which is very convenient to have in one equipment. I love this AC so much, that I am not going to use my old one anymore, although there were no complaints against him.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very effective cooling for spaces. This is so fast and efficient! Also providing fan and dehumidification functions, it's a convenient for me. Easy control for AC - Smart Control, that's simplicity and comfort. Installation instructions are simple and can be done by anyone
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have one room in my home that stays hot no matter what i put the thermostat on and i was so excited when midea gave me the opportunity to test this portable air conditioner out in exchange for my honest review. from opening the box to installation the whole process was a breeze and came with all the attachments needed for the window. it's not as bulky as you would imagine and it's easy on the eye. after turning on my room went from 84 to 74 in under 10 minutes and i've never beeen so impressed in my life. the remote is a dream and it also has a built in dehumidifier and heat function it's the perfect all in one!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The portable Air Conditioner by Midea packs a cooling punch! I set the device to 75 degrees on a sunporch that gets direct sunlight on an 80-degree day and after about 20 minutes, the room was comfortable enough to sit and read in! I am pleased with the air conditioner as it has created an option to enjoy my sunroom even in the summer and can get even cooler by lowering the temperature! The setup of the device was quick and easy and it doesn't take up a lot of space.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Midea gave me the opportunity to try this 6000 btu portable air conditioner for free for my honest review. I really enjoyed using this air conditioner. I like that it has three different options on it from air conditioning to fan to dehumidifier which is nice because when it's just not that hot out yet and don't have a fan this works great. For those really hot days you can switch it right to air conditioning and when its allergy season or someone in your home has asthma this works great for dehumidity your home. I like that it has a remote control to be able to set what temperature you want it at and even has a 24 hour on and off timer and a sleep mode so you don't have to wake up to turn it off or down. It was easy to put together. The manual was great it was very detailed and took you step by step on putting it together and how to program the remote. It also tells you where it needs to be placed and how far away from walls and objects. You do have to manually clean the filter which is reusable and the water tray and you also have to manually add water to it which wasn't that bad or inconveniencing. It comes with a safety lock for your window which is a nice and it comes with a window kit so no bugs can get in or other animals. It has 4 moving wheels which makes it nice to either move it around or to move it to another room. This is good for small areas like a one bedroom apartment or studio or one room in your home. It will cool off 250 square feet of space. Over all I really do recommend this it will keep you cool on those hot days.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [I received this product to sample in exchange for my honest review]. This is our first time using a portable A/C. We have 2 mini splits in our mini home. However, we have a loft space of about 200 square feet that is obscured from where our mini split faces and that area is often hot in the high noon or summertime, so we are so glad to get to sample this product! Installation: it took my husband about an hour to install this product. Mostly, because it requires measuring and cutting the insert to fit into the window perfectly. A handy saw tool is recommended. Pros: 1- Only hot air blows out of the tube, so even though we had to cut the provided insert to install into the window, we can still push the window screen back in from the outside. 2- Cools the room pretty fast and well. 3- The look is easy on the eyes. 4- Easy to navigate. Cons: 1- Runs quite loudly. 2- Not convenient for upstairs use (which is where our loft is) because there is no drainage pan. We have to put a temporary bucket behind the unit to drain out the water, and carry the water downstairs each day to toss. Will be better for those living downstairs. Overall, we are happy with its purpose since it's not going to be on every day but as needed.
Does not cool anywhere as good as my old window ac. We just had temps in the 90s. The ac ran non stop and never got below 88 degrees. Also, apparently no way to adjust louvers.
I bought this two weeks ago and now the remote doesn't recognize the unit and I can't set up on my network because the Smart Home app doesn't list the product I have. Will be returning for another mobile AC unit.
Purchased a 13500 Unit. It has been freezing up on the back. I called the support line and was told there was no body who repairs these units in our town. Won't buy again. Unit was purchased a few years ago
