Midea SmartCool 8200 BTU Portable Air Conditioner

I put this in my bedroom at the far end of the house from my unit and it keeps the room nice and cool. It is a little loud when it automatically comes on but you get used to it.

This is the perfect air conditioner for our enclosed front porch. It cools quickly, runs quietly, and with the timer function you can set it and forget it.

Our daughter lives in a small apartment, and maintenance was not getting their air conditioner fixed fast enough. Their cat had to stay there all day during the heat. We ordered this online and she went and picked it up and installed it. It cooled off the apartment pretty quickly, considering how hot it was and they were able to deal until the maintenance could actually fix their unit properly. She lives in an efficiency apartment, and it was able to cool the whole place down. Even better in just the room it was in. Good purchase.

I moved to a two story townhouse, and the AC doesn't cool the upstairs bedroom good enough. I bought this, and it's perfect! It cools the bedroom so well that sometimes I have to turn it off for a while. Love having the remote!

We've got two rooms that hover between sauna and car parked on asphalt in a desert. This one brought the temps down considerably and are now wonderfully cool.

A lifesaver! Our air conditioner broke while the temps were in the hundreds. Definitely won't cool our entire home, but will hold us over until a new AC is installed. It keeps our living room cool anyway.

Stopgap that handles small room up to 95° outside temp okay--not so good after that. Good conserving elec.use. Wheeled so moves good. Longer hose for exhaust than other brand.

lifesaver. Great as a supplementary unit for a mid sized room or for emergency air when your system goes out.

We purchased this for our small apartment. Way too loud and arrived damaged. Pick up and return was a bit chaotic, but overall was done as best as possible. We upgraded to the 10000 BTU unit, same manufacturer and was very happy.
