Midland 24-Mile Radio Pack (LXT500VP3)

I bought these radio's for in the house mainly. I'm disabled and this makes it easy for me to get help without yelling. When I get out to look around the Flea Market we used them and with me on my scooter and my helper on the other side they work great. This is a excellent product and very inexpensive. The Batteries last a long time and with their own charger no more changing batteries.

Battery doesn't last long enough and range is not as long as listed on the packaging. the do work for our needs.

I purchased this product for my 7 year old grandson as a birthday gift. I wanted a pair of walkie talkies that work well and last longer than cheaper character radios. I also liked the recharging cradle that comes with the radios. So far so good! My grandson and older granddaughter have lots of fun playing with them. They are loud and clear with being a decent distance apart from one another. Due to the quality of these radios, I've encouraged my daughter to use them for other purposes like when going on vacation, etc. I think they are a wonderful purchase for less than $35.00!!!

We bought these radios because I was always in the yard when I would get a phone call and my wife would have to come out with the portable phone and find me so now she just calls me no the walkies and tells me to come to the phone.

Perfect for my wife who has difficulty with hands/fingers and can not use cell phone- allows her to ring me if she needs me!! nothing to open or login one button to push!

This was a gift for my 6 year old grandson. He was very happy with it. It's easy to use and he'll be using it in and around the house, so range wasn't of great importance.

Our business uses these walkie's everyday and they are great. The short antenna is great compared to other walkie's we've used in the past. Only negative thing we can see is you have to make sure the red light is on and they are charging, or the next day we can't use them.

These radios work well to keep up with someone who isn't too far away - they are simple to work and easy to hear. The advertisement that there is a "16 mile range" on these hasn't worked for us - a 2 mile radius on flat ground is pushing it as voices become distorted. We are pleased with our purchase, however, because we were only using them for close range.

I love love love this set of radios!!! :) :) :) They get up to about half a mile in the city... very good in my opinion. :)
