A great, compact addition~

Brien Crotty May 26, 2026

A great addition to the lineup. I picked up two of these for use around our harbor. We've long used a pair of GXT-67 Pro handhelds with external mic/speakers, but those are way bulkier if we need something simpler. Perfect use case has been when one of us needs to run up to the main part of the harbor while the other stays at the boat and we don't want to carry around a handheld radio. Haven't tested the extreme ends of the range spectrum, but they work fine about 450 feet away

Good little radio.

Don434 June 14, 2026

Small and discreet; light, but powerful ... the ClipTalk meets the needs of my team. We tested it on every inch of our campus and had no issues with communication anywhere. Small learning curve with the app, but otherwise very straight forward. Too early to say how robust and reliable they are long term, but they feel well built. Highly recommended.

Great little radios!

KC3ZUZ July 6, 2026

After running several tests with these radios....I am very pleased with the performance. I expected very limited range but was pleasantly surprised to find that they work very well with both vertical and horizontal obstructions like walls and ceilings within a structure and also quite well outdoors with trees and varied topography. Please keep in mind...that these are designed for use when the operators are in relatively 'close' proximity to one another. They worked quite well on my 10 acre wooded and hilly camp property where the topography allows good line of sight. Transmissions are crisp and clear, and the earpiece is comfortable to wear over the ear...not jammed in there...so you can still use that ear when not TX'ing. Phone app is a nice addition, which is free with sign-up or subscription needed

Another Great Midland Radio!

Anonymous May 28, 2026

Another excellent release by Midland. Easily set up a couple family channels through the app and now they work with my X-Talker's, GXT67 Pro, MXT575, and the rest of my GMRS radios. I intend to upgrade the headset but out of the box it works as designed, and is loud (lots of volume control) and clear. Impressive the capability they packed in such a small, user friendly design. Thanks to the entire Midland team!

Great 2 Way!

Anonymous July 8, 2026

This is a great radio in a small package. No more knocking a radio off you belt, or getting cords wrapped around everything. Works great around the Church campus for security communications. Small, lite weight and easy to use.

Great little radios

Steve N June 3, 2026

These little radios are so nice. Their small form factor and reliable communications are a great fit for my purpose. Additionally, they can be charged via USB-C from my Midland MXT-575 to keep them ready to go when needed.

CLIP TALK FRS RADIO

MOTO DAD June 12, 2026

These radios are impressively compact and lightweight, making them extremely convenient to carry. However, I wish they included a protective case to prevent damage and help keep track of them, as their small size makes them easy to misplace. I highly recommend these for any situation where you need to communicate without having to yell to get someone's attention; they are absolutely awesome.

Doesn't meet expectations. Serious flaws

Blueespy July 9, 2026

Purchased these to wear while my wife and I ride our ebikes and to communicate to each other when backing our RV. Had not realized there was an option for hands free operation, which we took as a huge plus and eventually is the reason for just three stars. First, right out of the box they were charged and using the push to talk, easy to communicate. We did notice if we were too close (like 5-8 ft) when we tested them, the reception was hit and miss. The issues began when we opted for the hands free. According to instructions, you use the app, bluetooth pair just one, and then select the hands free option. After than it should work flawlessly. Not so much...First, after the initial bluetooth pair I could stand about 10ft from my wife and see "loss bluetooth" on my smart phone. Internet said a smart phone connection wasn't necessarily, you just needed one to access all of the options. Ok, so back to the test. If we were lucky, our hands free worked about 40% of the time. I walked around outside and again, about 40% of the time could communicate with my wife. This percent was about 60-70% if I used the push to talk button. The manual says they can communicate about a mile apart. I don't think so, I think it's more like 100 meters and you have to be within site. They were cheap so we won't be returning them but we are disappointed.

the sound from mic is kinda sounds like you in a box it is not always clear ,but the sound i hear is wicked good .My radios will not go 8hrs it is less than 6 hours if that i like to sound i hear but what they hear not so good . I have charged them up a few times and they just want go 8hrs.I work construction and on dozer, roller, dump truck and other very loud equipment you can hear them but i go to hand held to talk back .That kind of defeats my purpose

Clip Talk

Griff June 30, 2026

Great concept, mediocre execution. Extremely poor audio, ineffective VOX mode. Easy to set up, app works well, overall would not recommend.
