Midnight Club: Los Angeles (Playstation 3)

This game was a christmas gift for my husband. He enjoys it. He didn't expect it to be as fun to play as it turned out to be. As long as he is happy, I'm happy.

I got the game free with a bundle pckg and was going to trade it to help pay for Madden 10. AND I AM GLAD I DID NOT. MC 3 is the 2nd BEST racing game (after DESTRUCTION DERBY 2/psONE) ever made and played for me. It's addictive too. And its not just racing without a purpose. The graphics are clean and the handling is great. Its challenging and a must have for your PS3 collection. The customization of the cars is fun too. The map and city seems endless, as well as the missions and challenges. Racing at high speeds against a challenging opponent AND using the map to navigate kind of difficult. You definitely may have to concentrate or you'll get lost. I havent played a multi-player or online mode yet though. I've only been playing it for about 2wks now but its taken over my night life for now. but i'm still waiting on an exact remake of Destructy Derby 2 though. (race car games i've played: MarioKart/snes, gameQb; GranTur2,3&4/ps/ps2;Need4Speed: hotpursuit,revenge&some other one, Destruction Derby 1&2) MC3 exceeds them all excpt DD2.

this game brought rockstar to a new level. graphics, controls and whatnot, the game has it all. wiould recommend to anyone specially if you as disappointed as i was with NFS prostreet. overall the game is awesome

what i expected from this series, gr8 graphics, realistic autos

I think the city is amazing! The only thing I really don't like is the fact that the game doesn't have as many cars as need for speed undercover which is stupid to me, and its hard at times to catch up if your behind, and the customization needs work. Other than those issues the game is pretty good to me. It really is worth getting if you can get past these three issues if your a true race fan.

For a racing game it's pretty good, but if you get motion sick just by watching shaky tv, it's not for you. Kinda hard to actually drive and had trouble not peeling out of starting lines. Weird. Good story line and excellent graphics, though.
