As a gunsmith that travels to different working locations, having good and reliable tool sets is a must. This one has so far fit the bill perfectly. Easy to find the best fitting screw head piece for any job I've ran into so far. Would definitely recommend.
I'll start by saying I haven't actually used it yet; however, all of the pieces are solid and well made. It will also be nice to be able to retire my conglomeration/Frankenstein kit that I pieced together over the last several years with this one that has every tool I currently use in one box.
For the money you can't beat this set. It has most all bits to use on anything from reels, pistols, rifles and shotguns as well as knives. I have used the heck out of mine and the bits have all held up well except for the very smallest star bit, ( It is not of great strength in any brand I know of). Replacement for that bit was available at a local hardware store. I haven't stripped the head of any screw since buying my set. I would find it insulting to go back to looking for the right tool after being spoiled by this set. Great Job Midway on providing this great set for the money.
I wish I bought this years ago! Very nice set. It is the same as the set under the Callahan name. Hardened bits do not mess with the screw heads on my reproduction black powders. You do have several duplicate bits and a well that can hold specific tips you made already have or nipple wrenches as I have in there. The extra well also can hold a stubby handle if you have one. I do not know where the kit is made but the bits are a very high quality.
Wish I had got this years ago I'm a tinkerer by nature always putting in new triggers or lighter springs or just disassembling for a good cleaning this little blue box is worth it's weight in gold haven't come across anything that I needed that's not in this tool kit!
Bought this because I needed a decent set of screw driver bits for my workbench for a variety of uses including putting together and maintaining my weapons. Was pleasantly surprised by this kit and all of the pieces it comes with, including the glock sight adjustment screw bit, which may come handy for my glock down the road. The included case comes with a little integrated bin to hold screws in which I thought was a nice touch, and everything feels sturdy and well made. All in all happy with my purchase and excited to use this on a firearm project versus a toy assembly.
This set blows the Wheeler 89 piece set out of the water!. I took a chance and I'm VERY happy with this set. I sold the Wheeler set. This set has 34 more pieces for less than half the price of the Wheeler. Bravo Midway USA......
I am frequently in a situation where I have every screwdriver/torx/hex/etc. bit except the one I need. This is a very nice set that, hopefully, will have all my bases covered. I am happy with my purchase!
This set has everything you'll need to work on your variety of firearms . Cant beat the price and quality. Also the kit is the same-thing as another (Big name brand) but at lower price. Its a no brainer to purchase this product.
Nice assortment of bits for a wide range of firearms that comes in a sturdy organized case. From old single action revolvers, S&W and 1911's to modern semi autos, rifles and shotguns this set covers just about everything. Set also includes specialty tools that you would normally have to buy separately, which was what I needed to expand on my existing screwdrivers.
