Tricksy to assemble solo, but it was analyzed carefully, assembly was carried out at a leisurely pace %26 finished successfully. Better to have two peopleto assemble it, it would be MUCH faster. The merely cosmetic black plastic cap for the "flat-circle" pad's screw head is acceptable, but needs a circle of double-sided tape with a hole punched outta the center to stick it onto the screw head more firmly. Uncovered, the screw head would glint silver against the hilarious black %26 grey floral upholstery, but be perfectly cat-safe as it's an allen head screw. (everything's an allen screw here LOL) IMPORTANT -- Do the assembly of the cylindrical/barrel-shaped piece onto the base VERY patiently and it will succeed. It's the most troublesome bit of the assembly procedure. Cat explored it briefly when catnip was appropriately sprinkled. It will take a while to smell like home to her -- the most important thing for a cat, since scent indicates safe territory -- so she will be given all the time she needs, plus a well worn people-scented T-shirt.

well made and attractive and seems to be able to withstand the abuse of my 2 active cats.

This is a beautiful piece! Loved it, but, too small for my cat. Got it at a great price. Easy to put together and very well made. Gave it to a friend that has two smaller cats and they love it and are enjoying it. It was too nice and pretty to send back, glad I could gift it to another.

All 4 love to play on this. One or two hide in the barrel with one on top and the other on the platform. For safety sake, with 4 on it, I added two small pieces of concrete on base to prevent tip over. But under normal circumstances this would be OK. ....Each one of the 4 spent house playing with the dangling ball & went nuts when it bounced around. Many times I'd find 1 kitten asleep in the barrel [which is plush and cushiony] and the other on the platform. ....I was very easy to assemble and sturdy when put together. The faux fur and print fabric is securely attached so it won't buckle. I still have to show the kittens where the built in scratching post is. I like it & so do the kittens.

I looked and looked and looked for a perfect cat tree for my new kitten arriving next week end. She is a small kitten and I needed a cat tree that wasn't huge and looked cute. This one fits the bill. It is well made and according to all the reviews the cats love it.

Its beautiful and made well, but the string and ball are dangerous for a 3 mth old cat anyway. Twice I heard her crying out she had been playing with the ball and it wrapped around her paw tightly. If I hadn't been home it would have been bad. After the second time I had to cut the ball off. She really enjoyed playing though.

Looks very nice & is sturdy BUT unless you have a small adult cat or Kittens this is not the right thing for you. The Tube is only 11.5 in. long & the upper platform diameter too. My Boy (about 15lbs.) sits on the platform & lays over the tube but seems afraid to try to get inside the tube due to size. It fits right into to corner I had in mind when I ordered it but it would have been nice to actually have the measurements of the Tube & upper Platform since I thought they were larger (17 in) So IF you have small cats I recommend it.

Came missing several screws. Color not as pictured. Dangerous how its put together and can topple over on cats. Would return but as I was assembling, cats were scratching on it.
