Midwest Wire Mesh Top for Pens Black 48" x 48"

I use this on my Petmate pen. I had one in the past but I did not know how it was going to work with the walk through door. The new one has a place for that where the wire has a space for the door to open without lifting the top first. I was pleasantly surprised. My talented little dogs jump or climb out of their pens. The top fit securely enough to prevent this from happening. It was easy to put on and it folds easily in the middle so I can clean the pens. My life is so much easier now as cleaning takes half the time it use to. Plan to get more pens and tops.

When my daughter's whippet decided she could jump out of her pen, we needed a way to keep her contained. We go to horseshows almost every weekend and take two whippets - they love to travel. We used this excercise pen top for the first time this weekend. It was perfect, we also bought the flooring. By using both the top and the floor, it made the pen very sturdy. Everything is light weigth, easy to assemble & transport, and made of sturdy material. I would highly recommend these items.

I love this top for the play pen. It adds stability to the play pen and makes my puppy safer. I would not have been confident about using a play pen without a top like this, out of concern the pen may topple over or even that my other pets would be able to jump into the play pen. With this topper, I can leave the house while my puppy is in the pen and be assured she is safe. The only con to this topper is you can only use the play pen in the square shape.

I purchase this item so I'm an use it for an adoption center, but I didn't read the full description and thought I was ordering the cage and the top. And I ended up with two other than that the cats love being out of the adoption center cages and people can see the cats playing on the floor.

The top fits nicely on any standard exercise pen, when set up in a square. It gives the pen stability so the sides don't move. It also prevents dogs from jumping out of the X pen (if it is able to do so). I set this up at trials, and my two dogs are happy and comfortable. They rest while they wait for it to be their turn. One of my dogs won't go in a crate, but will go into an X pen, so this works out perfectly. We get the stability and safety of a crate, but the two dogs share a space larger than each would have separately in crates. They can move around and lie down with total comfort. I am grateful for this product!

Product fits the pen perfectly and fastens securely. It prevents other pets from getting rough with our new puppy.

I am very happy with this top for my exercise pen. Even though I have small dogs it keeps them from jumping & climbing over. It is made with good quality & sturdy metal. I would recommend this product & shipping was fast

We needed to fully enclose our pup, who was quickly jumping to the top of his ex-pen. This top is a very cost-effective solution, giving our puppy the luxury of space in his 4' x 4' x 4'' pen while preventing him from jumping out. The coated wire top is a match for the pen and the only drawback is that it was packed in such a way that one corner was slightly bent.

I like to use the shorter 30" Ex-pens for my dogs when traveling so I can lift them myself with ease. With the Mid-West wire top I don't have to worry that my dogs will climb or jump out of their exercise pen. Plus then you have a handy storage spot on top to keep item right at hand in your set up!! Very pleased.
