Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Re-Ignition - Griffin Combinable Thunderzord (Season 2) by Playmates Toys

These zords are so much more impressive for the price than I was expecting. The plastic quality and ratchet joints are great. What they are lacking in paint apps I can do myself and it's going to be a fun project.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave the toy to my little boy to play with to see a child's interaction, he played with it for hours and found it easy to use and play with, the toy seems strong and can withstand heavy play

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In theory, this was a very exciting toy. My son loves shooting toys and has a real soft spot for MMPR. As it is part of a bigger set, you get to click it all together and turn it into a giant robot- which is really cool! Unfortunately, to complete that robot would be quite costly and not achievable for us. This left my son disappointed. The toy had ran its fun course within a few minutes as all you can do is shoot the one accessory that comes with it. For the price, I think it's reasonable. I also think it is quite sturdy so can handle being knocked around. sadly, it just didn't have enough to keep my son interested for more than 10 minutes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great toy and there is also a few of them to collect which when collected creates a “mega thunderzoro”. It was easy to assemble however I have given it 4 stars as it says for age 4+ but my 4 year old did struggle to get the orange piece into to shoot out, it was quite hard to push it in, but once in he enjoyed shooting it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this toy would be great fun as used as part of the whole buildable set but on its own, the play time was quite limited. There's not a lot to do with it, my son absolutely loved firing the orange part out but the button was quite fiddly to press so needed help each time. After doing that a few times he was then done with the toy. I think he would play with it for ages if it was together with the other sets to build the bigger toy, but for us, it would be too pricey to buy them all so that wouldn't be achievable. Packaging was good, the toy was easy to get out and it feels durable.

Parts: All the parts fit together, but some connections could be more secure. Appearance: Nice paintwork and good overall detail. Transformation: Fun to transform, although some steps can be a little fiddly. Joints: The joints are a bit loose in places, making it harder to hold certain poses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] He was initially excited to have a new toy although he didnt recognise Power Rangers but that didnt bother him. He seemed to enjoy the shooting aspect and wasnt fussed that this was part of a bigger toy. Kept him amused for a bit before his attention wandered. From my point of view this toy is is just a leg of a bigger robot that would cost £100 for all the parts. On its own it didnt really do much but the complete robot looks more enticing. Great if you plan to get each of the 5 components otherwise not really worth it.
