since she was a pup, she loved the car. well, now that she's 40 lbs, she still jumps around the car very dangerous for her and us. this allows her to sit, lay down, or look out the window, BUT..... she's safe, secure, and restrained without being in the way, more importantly safe. I Love this dog safety seat belt! It is so convenient to use because the carabiner swivels. My dog likes to walk back and forth between the two back windows and she always turns in the same direction causing my old safety belt to twist and shorten. by the time I let her out, the old belt looked like a pretzel! This item is a must have!

I use 2 of these in my truck cab for my 60lb dogs. they feel strudier and better than the other things I've tried on the market. Just mske sure you have a good harness.
