I like this kettlebell. It's pretty sturdy and a good space saver. There's a little rattle when you use it but that's to be expected. I wish the handle was just a little bigger for two handed exercises, but that's going to depend on the size of your hands. Overall, I would recommend this for someone like me who wanted something compact for home use.
Great feel to kettlebells. Horns are a nice thickness and not slippery. Transitions between weights was smooth but solid feeling. One thing to note: selection base is never picked up so always on ground - nothing major but just a note to place off to the side so no tripping. lol. Weights are within a ounce or less of stated weight - weighed two sets: a lot better than other brands I have. Nice durable coating on plates. Fast customer service reply - no problem was just touching base. Hope you enjoy yours too
This kettle bell is easy to use. Switching between the different weight increments was easy and takes up much less room than my old 3 level weight tower (2, 5, 10lb weights). My only issue would be the handle. It is metal with no rubber or foam grip. I feel that would be helpful. A good purchase and I would recommend it.
Kettlebel is kind of big. Feels as good quality. Easy to change weight. Body and handle made from plastic. I'm afraid to do some exercises. But still it works for me because I saved a lot of space
SHORTISH VERSION: I'm very pleased. For *single* kettlebell exercises --- including "ballistic" ones like swings, cleans, and snatches --- I recommend it wholeheartedly for pretty much all users, with just a reminder that the bell is likely somewhat larger than the kettlebells you'd find in a commercial gym. Namely, this Mikolo bell is 10" in diameter, and 13" tall and thus larger than "competition-style" kettlebells which are 210mm (8.3") in diameter and 290mm (11.4"). And cast-iron kettlebells are even smaller. A cast iron bell that's 44lbs (the highest-setting on this bell is probably like 7.8" at widest, which would actually be at the handle with the "cannonball" of the bell maybe only 6.5ish" diameter and lighter weights would be even smaller. However, for *double* kettlebell exercises, I can't wholeheartedly recommend them to all users. I imagine they're inconveniently large for shorter users attempting double kettlebell exercises, especially since the body of the bells is *plastic*. Thus, unlike metal bells, one must take care not to bang the bells together in the course of doing double kettlebell exercises --- at least not regularly. LONGER VERSION: I purchased two and have done swings, cleans, and snatches with all the weight levels it offers. And for the 3 key things you want in an adjustable kettlebell, I'd grade it as follows: 1) Are the internal weight plates securely held by the bell -- Yes. The one caveat is that while I'm confident they're held *securely* even for swings, cleans, and snatches, if you wanted an adjustable bell that holds the internal plates so firmly you won't feel them shifting even like an 1/8" and thus creating a slight-but-noticeable sound and similarly slight-but-noticeable feeling of the bell's center-of-gravity-shifting you do each swing or snatch, then well... you might need to invest in a more expensive bell. 2) Are the weights accurate? --- Yes. Within 1% at all increments for the 2 kettlebells that I received when I measured them on a good postal scale that goes up to 110lbs with 0.1 oz accuracy. 3) Do the weights adjust quickly with a simple twist of the wrist --- Yes... I'm extremely happy with how quick and easy this is. [One helpful hint: While there is a sticker on the bottom rim of the kettlebell with two red arrows to be lined up to two red arrows of the base to make sure you've aligned it correctly so the bell truly locks in on the base and the weight stack, I found --- at least on the 2 bells I received --- an even easier way to align it is to make sure the bottom central tip of the stylized "M" logo in the center of one side of the bell is right above the red line on the base that marks which weight increment was chosen. On t hat note, it pays to spend a second visually making sure you've aligned these else you might have to spend multiple seconds jiggling it and wondering "wait, did it really go all the way down?... no?... oh, right now it's all the way down"]
It's a great value but is a bit larger than most kettlebells so can be awkward for certain exercises.
It's a great kettlebell. I use it daily. It's a little off-balance the way it's designed, but it still works well.
Seems to be pretty good but not sure about durability; time will tell.
it does switch smoothly, and has good increments of weight for adjustment. so for that I would say it works well for intended purpose. However, it is much bulkier than it appeared to be in the pictures, making it a bit impractical for many of the movements I was hoping to use it for, and the handle itself was a bit too short on the sides for my sized hands, making other movements more difficult. All in all, decided to return it, though it may work well for others.
I enjoy using this, but I'm nervous that it may not last long because the internal adjustable weights clank around inside the outer part as I move it for exercise.
