Well packaged and shipped quickly. One small damaged item that I have been assured will be replaced. Seems well constructed and the directions were easy enough to follow. Really nice unit for the price.
This unit is absolutely amazing. It took me 2 days to put it together by myself. I would recommend having a helper to hold things in place during construction. Directions were good enough to get it done. Working out with this Mikolo Smith Machine Home Gym, 2200LBS Power Rack with 36pcs Aluminum Pulley, Functional Trainer with Dual 132LBS Weight stacks has truly upped my game for work outs. I am 67 years old and loving this system. I am fairly new to working out, only a year in. This unit was an upgrade for me, and I could not be happier. Well worth every penny. I do highly recommend this unit
This is an amazing value for the quality of equipment. It was a little timely to get set up but nothing too crazy. It’s sturdy, glides seamlessly, and overall a great rig. Highly recommend.
Solid machine. With use of video, it was straightforward to assemble. They haven’t been a problem yet, but time will tell on the plastic pulleys. I’ve seen there is an aluminum upgrade option if I need it. A box was delayed in shipment and customer service was very responsive and helpful. Please disregard the mess in the room. Everything is everywhere as we build out the gym.
There is a lot to love about this cable/smith machine and at the end of the day it is worth the money. There are a few cons though you should know before buying, mostly due to assembly. The instructions that come with this are horrible. Lucky for me my son is a engineer and he was able to sort of help me understand how to interpret the instructions when putting this together. Once you get the hang of understanding what they are telling you to do it gets a little easier. There are no words in the instructions though, just pictures to show you what to do. Another issue is this machine comes in 8 different boxes which is understandable because of the weight. Unfortunately there is no labeling in the instructions are on the boxes of what is in each box. It feels at times like things are just randomly in different boxes and you will end up opening all the boxes searching for the parts you need next in your assembly. It would have been a huge help if Mikolo would have had a list showing what parts are in each box. Next issue is the nuts, bolts, washer etc that you will need to put this together come in 4 separate cardboard pieces with just a plastic layer on top. Once you open it all the different pieces will mix together which can mess things up if you don't know which bolt is which so just be careful when opening those. We just carefully opened them and set them out separate so we would know what was what. Next and final issue I can think of when putting this together is adjusting the pully tension. No where in the instructions does it tell you how to do this. We put it together then our pin that goes in the weight stacks didn't line up. I did some research online and was able to figure out how to adjust it so it would work but it was annoying and took a bit of time to get right. With all that said once you get it together this thing is great and you can do pretty much anything you need with it. I do love it and I am not sorry at all that I bought it. I wish the weight stacks were a little heavier but for most people this probably will not be a issue. If you are willing to go through the trouble of putting this together then I do recommend it.
would give more stars but been waiting on one more box for over 2 weeks Mikolo is slow to respond took 2 emails and a call to finally get back to me.
The smith machine itself is great with the exception of the weight stack if i had know the weight stack itself is concrete instead of steel I would not of bought it.
I would've given this 5 stars if only one of my pulley cables didn't split from the sheath only after 2 days of usage, paint coating on both my catch and smith bar has scraped off due to being constantly caught, several of my weight stacks were split and cracked and the plastic pulley wheels are obnoxiously noisy. With that being said the good is that the machine is sturdy and fits all of my workout craves at home. Finally, please make sure that you measure your desired location for this gym....I didn't double check and had to place it in my garage rather than my basement. If the price I paid was any much more I would've returned it due to my complaints.
This will be my 4th gym that I have purchased through this brand. All the others were legitimately solid. I purchased 4 because i upgrade when I am able to afford. The last was m4 2.0, which was solid. I got tired of switching out the weights. So i purchased this one, that I am reviewing. ALOT of the parts are cheap now but what stands out to me is the smith bar. The ends seem to be more so plastic wrapped in chrome coating, so I worry how long it will last. Also read carefully as this ad does not tell you what the weight stacks are made of. They are not steel, more so sand or concrete 12lbs each which is an odd number if you want to label it
Some parts showed up some never arrived. Tried emailing directly and through Walmart. Responses were generic and never solved the problem of missing parts. Tracking still shows FedEx never received the package. Doesn’t seem like they even attempted to fulfill my order. I wouldn’t recommend bothering with this brand or seller.
