This is a very good item for cutting lumber whenever you absolutely need a perfect cut so your boards fit in place. this is a very helpful item for anyone that works with wooden boards building things.

I liked that the mounting clamps are adjustable so it could work with different manufacturers of saws and a variety of projects. I thought that the guide bar was a little tricky to slide through the saw base at first but after several uses it seemed to move easier through it. I noticed that when cutting it saved time since I was more accurate compared to using the saw alone. I also wasn't making repeat cuts. I would recommend this to someone that is new to using saws or someone that wants to make more precise cuts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I do a lot of projects at home and this coming spring and summer we have many projects on our plate to beautify our home. We need to redo baseboards throughout, trim and molding for windows etc. This saw guide is going to cut that time in half or even more. The biggest part of time consumption in the past regarding projects is us trying to accurately measure, and line things up and make the proper cuts necessary with minimal error. My husband is really good at those things naturally, but again it is time consuming without a guide. This will make it even easier for him to do, and save time, and that of course creates less stress overall and more projects that can be completed! I recently purchased additional cutting tools and so this guide is going to help us tremendously. I suggest everyone get one to be more efficient, and make their projects easier.

This saw guide is basic and fairly easy to use but the instructions were slightly confusing. I found the slide adjustment latch tricky to use as it sticks and jumps rather than sliding. A big positive point is this saw guide fits with many well known and used tool brands. I tried this out using my Bosch and it worked well.

Don't waste your time if you are purchasing for circular saw use. The vibration from the saw (tried with several different saws) causes the screws that attach the saw to the guide to vibrate loose after a few rips. If you tighten them tight enough to not move, the plastic of the guide warps and misaligns the guide. Tested on several scrap pieces with no issue and was surprised on my 2nd rip of my project when my saw took a literal turn for the worst.
