These walkies were great. I used them on a cruise for the kids to play. They don't work while you're in the rooms because everything is metal. But when you're out and about on the ship, they work pretty well. We were even able to pair them with other similar style walkies. The battery life is good.

GREAT GIFT FOR THE FAMILY
This product was a White Elephant gift at our families Christmas Eve party and it was a hit for the kids. They loved it! We use this for camping.

Eh
They were ok. We got them to communicate during moving since we were both driving and even being right behind each other we picked up a lot of static and interference. They were good before we left we tested distance and they did good then but once we got on the road it wasn't that great.

less than 3miles range in residential area.
it said it can reach up to 16miles. It did not even rewch 3 miles . Note this was in a residential neighborhood.
