The material is not heavy and when it Arrived I hand washed it and it dried quickly, I think. I did not use a dryer, I air dried this dress. I recommend keeping it out of the dryer. I bought a larger size for my daughter and it was a good fit as she is a 5T or 4T and needed a 6-7.

Beautiful dress!
This is the cutest little dress for my granddaughter. She loves it and can't stop twirling around in it. Fabric os super soft with a little bit of stretch. Fits her perfectly. Size is true to size.
