Milwaukee 2363-20 M18 LED Lantern/Flood Light

For a battery operated light, it has some uses, but is still limited. For doing work in the dark, while the power is out, the light is not bright enough. For example, I have to use additional lights while doing electrical work whenever the power is out. But, if you are using it while camping or need it to see where you are going during a power outage, it is a decent light to have. A nice feature, such as when using it for camping, it has different light outputs each time the power switch is pressed (dim to full output). It also has a shield you can rotate from outside of the light to provide a more 360 degree lighting effect or narrow the light output to be more like a flood light. It also has convenient hooks at the top to hang the light. Due to the limited lumen output, you can get light for many hours using the XC 5.0 batteries. But, that is the trade-off. You get light for many hours, but because the light output is limited. You can look up the incandescent bulb lumen output equivalent to this light, but I would say this light is roughly equivalent to a 40 watt incandescent bulb. To do detailed work where I can easily see, I need 1200 lumens or more. So, I would recommend this light only if you plan to use it as a general lighting device.
