Best Battery on the market.
The 8 AH Forge outperforms my other Milwaukee Red Lithium batteries in both output and battery life. It actually outperforms my 12 AH …and is significantly smaller and lighter. Forge batteries for me from now on.

Powerful Battery at a Great Price
I purchased the Milwaukee M18 REDLITHIUM 8.0 Ah Forge Battery (48-11-1881). This is a great price for a high-capacity battery. It delivers strong, reliable power and lasts a long time, making it perfect for heavier tools and longer jobs. What I like is the long runtime and solid performance—it holds a charge well and keeps tools running efficiently. What I don't like is that it's a bit heavier than smaller batteries, but that's expected with higher capacity. Overall, it's a great value for the power you get, especially if you already use Milwaukee M18 tools.

Milwaukee M18 red lithium Forge XC 8.0 battery
I am very pleased with this battery. I had been using the 4.0 amp batteries but they did not hold up to usage with my chainsaw, blower and string trimmer. I think the 8.0 is a good compromise between the 4.0 and the 12.0 Milwaukee batteries. this battery is a little heavier than the 4.0 batteries but there is not that much difference. runtime is a lot longer on high drain tools. I believe it is a good investment for a do-it-yourselfer or a professional handyman

Outstanding charge life!!!
Battery charge life is outstanding! Charged once when I received the battery. That was about a month ago and I use the vacuum I have it placed in nearly every other day and it is still fully charged!
