The smell is fresh and wonderful. I have grey hair and was dry. It left my hair much easier to manage.

This is a deep conditioning product that should remain in your hair for at least 20-30 minutes. It has really put moisture into my hair. I have bleached hair (purple!), but it did not seem to lift or dilute my color. Even after blow drying, my hair is still soft and silky. Be aware that this product has a really thick consistency. You will not be successful in getting it out of the container with the lid on. Best advice: shake the product down towards the top, then remove the lid and dispense a quantity into your hand to apply. The bottle is not very flexible, and again, the product is thick. Its price is a bit high. I have medium-length hair, and I think I will get 3 conditioning treatments out of it. I do give this product a very favorable rating for its quality.
