To be honest, this is the first time we used the 2pc White Mind Reader Rice and Grain Washer set. We washed rice, soaked beans, and rinsed fruits or vegetables before but never used a specific washer to clean them. Mind Reader Rice and Grain Washer - 2 Pc set has so many uses! When I first opened this 2 pc set up I was concerned I wouldn't be able to think of extra ways to use this product. At first I thought, what would I even use it for between the times I need to rinse my rice? Actually I kept it on the open shelves in my kitchen so I'd have it right in front of me. I was afraid if I put it away, I'd never even think about using it other than to rinse rice or veggies. Frankly, I don't even NEED to use it for rinsing my veggies, I've done that for so long in the sink that I thought this product would be redundant. However, that's really not the situation at all. I actually used it for rinsing my rice and yes, it does work perfectly for that. However, I did use it to soak and rinse my veggies and most of them fit in there quite nicely, especially in the larger item of the two pieces.The largest one holds 6 cups and the smaller one holds 4 cups. The strainers in each basket work very well, quickly but not exceedingly quick. It holds your items in the basket as it's draining very well without allowing it to drop out or fall over the edges. You can actually drain out the liquids with only one hand! But as I was finding other uses for my 2 pc set, I found that during the times that I'm cutting up my various veggies for my yummy Tofu Scramble, or even my homemade veggie soup; it's really great to put everything that's cut up into the larger one and all the veggie scraps for the garbage bin or compost bin into the smaller one! I'm sure I'll find more and more uses as time goes on, I'm actually excited to see what I can come up with next. It's funny, I once thought it would be a waste of time and money to get this product, yet now I don't know what I'd do without it. I would definitely recommend this for just about anyone, but especially those of you who really want to be safe with their rice rinsing before cooking! And don't forget to wash all those pesticides off your veggies too. I really like this product!

Soak rinse strain all in one easy operation with only one easy clean up to do. The washer cleans easy holds enough water to was very well then just tip and strain off water. Two convenient sizes . Grain rice washer is neat with many uses you can clean any grain or rice or strain macaroni or spaghetti easily . I really like the way it has the strainer on the end instead of the whole bottom , making it easy to look rice or grain for foreign objects while holding water . They come in two sizes in one package both large and small for any size family meal .One washer is two cups and one is six cups for the size you need at your finger tips since they have great handle holes to hang very easy in your kitchen .

I like the rice and grain washer for cleaning beans and rice. The size of both bowls make for cleaning small or large amounts of rice or grains. The built in drain helps keep stuff from going through a strainer when dumped in. NO DUMPING! just lift the side and drain the bowls.

Well, I love it! It's much easier to clean than the wire strainers and it can be used in multiple ways. I use the Mind Reader Rice and Grain Washer 2 Pc set to soak beans and other grains. I use it to wash rice, quinoa, beans, barley and much more. You can also use the Mind Reader Rice and Grain Washer 2 Pc set to strain boiled spaghetti or other hot boiled foods. You will not burn your hand from the steam of any hot food you're straining because of the convenient handle on the top. I would definitely recommend the Mind Reader Rice and Grain Washer 2 Pc set.

Not only is it beneficial to wash your rice for better health, but it gives the rice better flavor and texture! This bowl set (4 and 6 cup) is a perfect way to be able to rinse small or very large quantities of rice (or other grains), beans, fruits, and vegetables with small enough drain holes that you do not lose a single piece down the drain. You can stand the bowls upright or lay flat on the counter and washes easily to be able to use again and again.

I have got to say I love these ! I used to wash my beans and rice and it would be a complete mess when it came to trying to pour out the water with out spilling the rest,.and ever since I started using these life became a lot easier, I love how you can leave the beans soaking over night in the fridge since these are flat at the bottom you don't have to worry about anything spilling, and it hast holes small enough so that you can very early wash your rice, I even tried draining the water from my pasta and it worked great!! No more spilling the pasta! I have also used it for washing my fruit and vegetables, I even had about 6 large cans of tuna I had to drain and I used it for that and it worked great I didn't even have to do one can at a time I was able to drain all 6 at once! What I really like is that you get to a small and a big one so if all you want to do is wash a couple strawberries yo can do so with out getting a big container out or if your having a party and you need to do a lot you also can ! These are very easy to use and clean, even my kids have fun using it when the want to wash fruit that they want to eat for a snack, I truelly recommend it it worth every single penny I would definitely purchase this item again and again

I like to cook rice often, I make big meals with it so I can reheat the leftovers. The one thing I didn't enjoy is washing it. Normally I would wash my rice in a salad bowl. It was a hassle and it took a long time because I couldn't completely empty the water from the bowl. I tried washing it in a strainer, that didn't work at all. These dishes are Amazing! I love them, first I have the option to use the small container or the large container for large amounts of rice. Secondly they're so easy to use and perform perfectly. I washed 2 cups of rice, I used the big container but the small one would have been a better choice. I could easily wash 4 and maybe even 6 cups of rice in the large container. It holds quite a bit of water and with the cupped edges none of the rice splashes over the side when I'm washing it. I tip the container one way to pour out some water and chaff that floats to the top then tip it the other way and let all the water drain out. I like the feet on the bottom so it doesn't sit directly on the bottom of my sink. Three quick washes and the water was running clean. Bing Bang Boom I'm done washing 2 cups of rice in a couple of minutes. I was making sweet and sour chicken, I really like the canned Chinese vegetables but they need to rinsed really well before adding them to the dish. Again I dumped the can in the rice washer and had them rinsed out in seconds, no fuss no muss. This is going to be great for washing fresh fruits and vegetables as well. I wash all my fresh veggies and fruits in vinegar water to make sure they are clean. Some things I like to let soak in vinegar for 5 minutes, this is perfect for that because it's deep enough that I can leave vegetables soak then pick it up and drain all in 1 container. I really love this set and I know I'm going to be using it all the time and not just for rice. I think I'm going to buy a set for some relatives, this would be a great house warming gift because it's so practical.

I was excited when I received this rice and grain washer. It's much bigger than what it looks online. It like a weird oval/squared shape. I wasn't too impressed with that. Since the odd shape of it made it bulky. So it'll take a bit of space to store it. The washer works great for rice, fruit, grains etc...It works exactly like a colander but there was still a little water left, that wouldn't go away, when I was rinsing some fruit. So what I had to do was shake it a bit to remove the rest of the water. Overall this product does it's job and work well. I works even better when you want to let some fruit or rice rest in water before rinsing.

For pasta these strainers are great. I have made elbow macaroni and spaghetti with no problem, but I have not tried anything smaller than rice yet. With the rice it helped immensely with the prewashing. I do need to point out that some small broken grains lodged themselves into the holes and were quite difficult to get out. I have no tried the strainers with our main side yet, quinoa, for fear that if rice can get stuck quinoa may pass right through. Even if that should happen I would still recommend these for pasta, vegetables, and rice!
