Mind Reader Adjustable 8 Position Lap Top Desk,Black ........My Lap Top is used a lot... I do a lot of browsing through the Lap Top, from my recliner in the evenings. This lap tray give excellent stability........Pad material is very lightweight ..The been bag underside nicely adjusts to keep the upper surface level...The product seems well built and serves it purpose...This thing is awesome. Very comfy and easy to transport...... I use it fairly often and haven't had any problems with rips or tears. Fits comfortably on my lap and is wonderful.... I even use it when I want to color or paint on the couch or bed. I love it :).......This is perfect for our long road trip............I love it.....I would repurchase this lap desk a million times and recommend it for any one who likes to do a bit of lounging while studying or working.........Great little lap desk. ....I have also found this very useful for when I have to fill out paper forms, write out bills or notes while sitting in a chair..........I am going to keep this in mind as a gift giving idea at Christmas......This desk is a number 1 for me...I sit in my recliner in my livingroom and do my work in front of the TV....while relaxing in the recliner....... The Mind Reader Adjustable 8 Position Laptop Desk is amazing in its simplicity. Who would have thought this simple product would be so useful? It is though. Instead of attempting to balance a laptop on, well...my lap, I place it on the desk and it's stable enough for me to sit comfortably on my sofa and type away. The underside of the desk has two areas covered in cloth that are cushioned. The cushioned area rests on the lap while the mostly-flat side is on top. The 8 positions available can be adjusted by lifting the mostly-flat side from the bottom and moving it to the most comfortable setting between the plastic spacers. (See pic for idea of how it looks once moved to a position.) The laptop then rests on the lipped area on the mostly-flat side. Being lap-sized (and fitting almost all laps), the Mind Reader Laptop Desk is a product able to meet needs in many, maybe most, households. Walmart, as of this review is currently out of this product, and sells it for $14.99. Other stores sell it for as much as $17.99. Although I did receive this product free of charge to conduct an honest review, if I had any idea of how great this is to have I would have bought it. My daughter is a student and she has used it. She likes it a lot and has found it to be very helpful.

I am doing a review on the Mind Reader Adjustable 8 Position Lap Top Desk. It comes in black. It is made of plastic but not a thin and cheap plastic. It is very well made. It has some weight to it. It is durable and it seems that it will lasts a long time. Not one of those flimsy ones. The title does not state that it comes with cushions. It comes with a larger cushion toward the top and a smaller one toward the bottom. It is made of a very soft and warm material. It kind of feels like felt to me. They are very comfortable. They are very thick and not cheap and thin. They have some sort of small round plastic beads inside of them. The desk itself is (L x W x H) 11.22 x 14.76 x 2.17 Inches. That is a pretty good size. My laptop is 15" and fits it just perfect. There is a little lip that sticks out that holds the bottom of the laptop in place. It has a rugged surface that words well. It is about one inch deep and six and a half inches long. The main point of this desk is that is comes in eight positions for the different angles of your laptop. Myself, I prefer the eighth position. I like the monitor up close and high. The different positions help with neck and eye strain. I thought during use the flat panel might slip out of one angle position to another but that did not happen at all. It is very sturdy, reliable and easy to use. I almost forgot to mention it also comes with a handle so that you can carry it with ease. I can't think of one thing to say negative about it. I would recommend this product.

This is about the fourth laptop stand I've owned, and my favorite so far. Have to use these things a lot with my job, as I have to be "portable" and take down meetings in remote places, so I'm not always at a table. So I record audio on a laptop and sometimes have problems being able to type and monitor progress on my laptop in my lap... I always need a dependable, adjustable laptop stand. I was worried that this would be too flimsy, as it is plastic and lightweight, and when I received it, it IS lighter than I had even expected. However, it turned out to be sturdier than I imagined -- I didn't beat it up, but I did put a little more pressure on it than I thought I would normally, and it held up just fine. Another good point, all those adjustable positions are wonderful! Most stands have two or three; this one has eight! Good point two: large- AND small-sized SEPARATE cushions on the underside of the stand, so that the large size creates the incline level. This may seem like a "well, duh" point, but if you've owned more than one laptop stand, you've probably owned one that had ONE giant cushion on the back. What happens? Yeah, all the little Styrofoam beads in the cushion shift after about 2 minutes to the front, and you have to lift it up and re-adjust. No, thanks. With this stand, someone figured that out, so there are two separate cushions, one big and one small. Thanks!! A separate bonus for me personally is that little flip-up tray on the top that will secure your laptop when it's being held at angle. Most of these trays are not adjustable and if you use the stands for anything other than a laptop, they will get in the way, and they also make storage a little hazardous in that the tray will pop off or get damaged. Been there. The fact that this is adjustable means I can lay it flat for easy storage, PLUS I can use this laptop stand for watercolor and other crafting I do (and I do a lot), when I need a flat but portable surface. All in all, a wonderful little stand, and I want about three more of 'em!

I got the mind reader adjustable 8 position laptop desk with cushions because I was looking for something to bring my screen on my lap top at eye level when sitting at my desk. The important thing that I over looked when I recently purchased a laptop/TV stand desk the first time is that I needed a slanted surface so that I could type on the laptop keyboard comfortably. This Mind Reader Adjustable 8 position laptop desk is exactly what I was looking for! The dimensions are perfect for my Levno ThinkPad laptop, with room to spare. I measured it at: 11.6 (L) and 14.9 (W). It is also pretty lightweight at 2 lbs. The height measures from 2.5 inches to 7.5 inches The Mind Reader adjustable laptop desk has 8 different levels that you manually adjust, there is also a pop out lever on the top surface at the very bottom to keep your laptop or iPad from sliding off when tilted. The portable desk appears very sturdy and has a flat, hard surface, so you can use it for many things, like drawing, reading a magazine, book, text book, writing a letter, use as a music holder, etc. I use it mostly for my laptop at my desk, and sometimes in bed or in my lounge chair. I really like that it fits so comfortably in my lap as well. The bottom of the laptop holder is made of two felt, almost like bean bag filled tubes, but it is so light that it must be filled with an improved type of material that is similar to the beanbag fillers. I like that the whole thing is feather light. Another bonus is that this little desk keeps your iPad or laptop cooler because of the raised surface, which allows for proper ventilation. I have had other laptop adjustable desks before and this one if the best so far. I was surprised to find out that it is very reasonably priced and I think it is well worth its value. I would recommend this product to my family, friends and anyone that is searching for a portable, adjustable laptop/iPad desk.

I chose this Lap Top Desk because I needed one for use with my Dell lap top. I mostly use this desk while I am in my recliner. I had been using part of a rolled up throw to put under my computer to keep it at the level I needed to see. So glad I now have this Lap Top Desk. I can adjust the level up to eight positions. Really easy to use and there is a flip top ledge at the bottom to keep your lap top from sliding off the desk. It makes it so much easier now to work on my lap top. And to view movies and videos online. And typing on the keyboard is much easier with my lap top tilted. This Lap Top Desk is made of plastic and seems pretty sturdy so I expect it will last for a long time. It has two bolster type filled pillows on the bottom for comfort and to keep the Lap Top Desk from sliding around. And when you are finished using the Lap Top Desk, it folds flat for easy storage. Just love it and the multiple uses for this Lap Top Desk.

Just received it today and put it to use right away with my 13 inch MacBook Pro. Love the different angles that is available for you. It is very sturdy and made of good quality material. I used it on my kitchen counter this afternoon and evening for college work with no complaints. Makes a world of a difference in your posture and neck strain. I love this lap desk so far.

This item comes fully assembled, ready to go right out of the box. It's simple to use, no directions needed. It is of good quality but not durable enough for a child. I tried using a laptop but it was rather awkward on any position other than flat. It's wonderful to use with a tablet, especially in bed or on a cushy-couch. The "8-positions" are just little notches to adjust the angle, I thought it would be more grand for some odd reason but that's me. Some of my favorite features are the carry handle, the squishy foam-bead filling on lap side and that I can fit a small stack of papers inside the closed unit. The space isn't big enough for an actual folder but can hold loose-leaf paper well. It's lightweight, compact and easy to take-along. Overall, I'm pleased with this product and would recommend it for tablets.

I really like this portable desk. It weighs a bit less than 2 pounds and has a handle to make it easier to carry around. There is a flap lined with rubber on the bottom of the table that opens up to keep your tablets or smart phones from sliding around. The two rows of bean bags are really comfortable on your legs and keeps the table in place. The bigger row of bean bag gives the table just the right 'angle' when it is in the closed position for using a laptop. I also like the 8 positions I can set the table in because I can get my tablet in just the right position for typing and a different position for video viewing and then a totally different one for playing games! The table is a little difficult to open at first, but gets better with more use. I do like being able to carry the table around with the handle, but in that position it allows the bottom 'flap' to flip open. No way to keep it shut that I can see. All in all, this is a pretty cool table that could be used when someone is bedridden and needs a secure table for food or drinks, or anytime really.

If you are looking for a cooling or vented stand, this may not be a good choice because this is solid plastic. I only use it while sitting on couch with a Chromebook and surprisingly this is very comfortable and seems sturdy. Laptop does not slide and the added cushion is a plus. For basic needs this is more than adequate and worth the price.
