They arrived packaged very well. they have a lil weight to them so they can easily hold books up too. So far I have gotten many compliments of how elegant the look and my house hold loves them.

It doesn't hold anything up also the color is not the color photographed. Also the quality is very poor you can see where it was welded together and spray-painted. If I didn't have an enclosed book shelf I would be sending this back.
