Just what I needed for when I don't wanna sit at my desk while working from home. Love the little drawer to keep small things handy. The raised platform makes it easy to see and use the laptop no matter how laid back I get. Great value for the money. I frequently prefer this to my desk.
I expect the item to be slightly bigger, the wooden part that prevents a book or laptop to slide off came defective, I had to file it a little to fit in but manage to get it to work. Also the drawer for pens is kinda small it can only hold 2 pens and it has to be slanted. No pencils or highlighters fit unless is the miniature ones. I also expected it to be slightly taller and a little more wide. However overall it was a good buy and good price depending what you are using it for. I am doing online schooling so I would've liked a little more space on it but over all I like it and it's being used either way.
This was exactly what I wanted, but it is poorly made. The bolts were not tighten and the tacks holding pieces together came apart in less than two weeks. Handy work with elmers glue, plyers and hammer, better than new
Thsi is a great desk for using when I am in bed. I sometimes lift it and sometimes I don't. It is nice to have the option. I gave only 3 stars because of two things. First the drawer is so small you can't really use it. You can't even fit most pens in it. I don't what else you would use it for. Paper clips? Pencil erasers? Pretty useless. Secondly, the legs are "hinged" using a nut and bolt/screw each that loosens over a few uses and has even fallen out. Luckily, it fell out on my bed so it was easy enough to find and reinstall. I now just make sure they are all tight when I unfold the legs. It is a good thing for me, I use it everyday.
I didn't really like the design. The surfaces are not smooth and when stood up it's not very square so you really have to use it on a bed. The order was delayed by over a week and no real updates along the way about why delayed or when it would get here.
The drawer was broken when it was delivered. It looked as if if was broken before it was packaged since the piece that was broken was placed in the drawer tightly so it didn't rattle around. I chose to keep product and it was easily fixed with wood glue.
description says legs are adjustable for height which I found out was incorrect when it arrived. When I returned it I was not refunded the $5.99 shipping which I think is wrong. I did not just change my mind about what I wanted. If the description didn't say the legs were adjustable I wouldn't have bought it. I should be refunded the $5.99 shipping
Design is simple and good. But I found two shortcomings. One of the disadvantages is that the length of legs are different. But I bought it to use on the bed, so it's okay. And the second disadvantage is that the finishing touch is terrible... That's why my hands are scratching.
I really wanted to like this item. It was exactly what I was looking for the right price. For the first month the desk worked out great. Then after that things went down hill fast. The bolts started to come loose on the legs. Then the screws fell out that held most of the thing together. I broke out some tools and fixed it for another couple of months but it didn't work out. Its just cheaply made and the screws won't stay in.
The legs do not stay extended if you move at so it falls. The angle options are not very comfortable. I'm basically bed ridden woth an injury and in college and bought to make studying easy and I spend more time adjusting it and picking it up with the legs fold back in. Wpuld maybe work better on a table. Not a good product to use in bed.
