i know i overpaid from a different seller, but it was worth it to get my friend the last piece for his collection. It is 3 inches tall, looks good on display with all his other pieces!! Well made snd detailed.

They love playing with them with their dolls and outside, so when I seen this toy I knew they'd love to play with it and they do. It is one of the toys they grab when they play outside. Definitely a fun little toy for boys or girls, they'll love it.

Just be careful, or a teleport to another dimension will open ans takes You in... just kidding :) (be advised, it will be hard enough to take the cube out once inserted)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We came home from our Easter vacation and were happy to find this new Mattel toy! Our little one is not all that familiar with Minecraft and not really into this current phase. But many of the kids at school are always talking about it so she was willing to give it a try. She asked what does it do? That's a good question. What is the purpose of this figure? We haven't seen the movie but we have seen the previews. Nor have we played with anything Minecraft related in the past. However, in our house, Dennis took a different path. Our child was more focused on the fact it looks like a wild animal. She ran with the animal part. Never fear, Dennis was given a new life and taken to our Barbieland!!!! He will be used to terrorize Barbie, Chelsea and friends when they go out in their camper and encounter a big bad wolf. Don't be fooled by Barbie's smile as she's driving her camper. She's not too happy a wolf has hitched a ride on her RV! Dennis will hold up well swimming in our pool (or maybe he can sneak into Barbie's pool too)! If he's thrown off the roof of the camper, don't worry--don't expect any breakage. It's well made and sturdy. Will transport well, but the little pieces would not be good around very young children. I can see it being thrown in a beach bag and spending time at the beach with little wear and tear to the item. It's not movable or really an action toy. It will just be up to the individual's imagination to figure out how to play with this Minecraft toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a well-made figure but the portal cube can only be put together once then that's it. You can't do anything else with it. Whereas in the movie it gets put together and taken apart, so if you want to create the scene, you need to be able to take it apart. Having just the figure makes sense considering the whole franchise if about being creative, but it did not hold the attention of the Minecraft loving 8-year-old- however he did want to buy the entire set of figures shown on the toy packaging so that was definitely a win for marketing. As far as what was said by the 8-year-old about this toy he said, “I like how you can make it sit and I love that it can be a friend when you are lonely”. The colors and design of the character are spot on making it easy to recognize unlike some that are made by competitors. If there was a suggestion for improvement, it would be to make it so that it could be put together multiple times which would increase its ability to hold the attention of children. Another suggestion would be to include something to keep all of the little pieces that it came with as they are inevitably going to get lost quickly.
