He initially played with them but decided these was more for collecting and put them on his shelf to display with other favorite items. His favorite of course is the axolotl. They are quite detailed and well made and I think most kiddos that enjoy Minecraft would like the set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All 4 of my older boys have enjoyed Minecraft at some point. My 7 year old really enjoyed the movie and became obsessed with everything Minecraft. He was so excited when I opened this. He has played with them since we received them and his 4 year old brother likes to play with them with him as well!! Pretty good quality for what it is and for something so simple, it has kept my kids attention for the time being.

There is only so much you can do with them. They didn't keep his interest for very long. He did play with them but lost interest rather quickly.

He would prefer movable joints and possibly a background or setting to play with them in. But if you are looking for a collectible, they are great quality!
