It was big, and of good quality. There was no problem getting the slime out. The Devour wasn't messy as long as you don't go all over the house.
This toy I got on clearance for really cheap. It was way bigger than I was expecting! It has an awesome design and comes with slime. My minecraft obsessed son is going to love it for his birthday coming up. Purchasing this will not be a disappointment.
son loves it! bigger than expected!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids are all nuts about Minecraft. This Minecraft Legends the Devourer with Ranger action set is a great addition to their growing collection. The Devourer is huge, he's as large as one of their Minecraft playset. The only assembly is attaching the mushroom spores to his back. The main feature: load the slime that is included, press on the mushroom spore and watch it spew vomit on poor Ranger. This was a big hit in my house.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy has been a blast. The slime is a little gooey at the get and then seizes up, but that might be from how much we are playing with it. Even without the slime, it keeps the kids occupied for hours with all their other minecraft figurines.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun toy! I was pleasantly surprised by how big the Devourer figure was! Like 10 inches, with bulky movable arms. It looks fantastic sitting on the shelf when the kids aren't playing with it. The ranger (3.25") is a great size compared to some of the smaller Minecraft figs on the market. Now, the slime. It is bright green, sufficiently viscous, goopy slime. It's a fun idea because of course, slime makes everything better -- the mushroom spore basically blasts air into the top chamber to push/puke slime out of the Devourer's mouth. Genius! But -- it also doesn't work super well- more like slime oozing out by gravity. Lol maybe it's for the best since this stuff is definitely gonna stain. Both the Devourer and the Ranger are also well made, as far as construction and sturdiness. The ranger is articulated, with movable head and limbs, but I'm surprised that they made it with so many crevices that you can't get the slime out of. Also surprising considering the Devourer's slime chamber is so smooth and decently easy to clean out. I doubt we'll use the slime often, but in the meantime this set is gonna get great rotation in my 7 and 9 yr olds' off-screen Minecraft playtime!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This concept is fun and the toys are similar in size to other Minecraft characters we own, but the accessories (crossbow and sword) that came with others in this series don't actually fit in this character's hand. It wouldn't be a problem, except the slime that came with it (it's supposed to be delightfully vomited out of the devourer, it's ridiculous in the best way!) was instantly spilled on the floor so it got dirt and hair in it. We had to throw the slime out after one use so it would have been nice if the accessories were at least interchangeable. The good news is that the slime was really easy to clean up out of the toy and off of the floor. Both kids (7 and 10) enjoy this even without the slime component.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got the Minecraft Legends The Devourer Slime Toy. It comes the the devourer figure, squeeze block, Minecraft figure and small bag of green slime. It is easy to assemble by adding on the squeeze block to the back. The top part opens up and you put the slime inside. This lid part was very hard to open but it does snap shut well to keep the slime inside. You squeeze the block on the back and the slime comes out the front on the mouth part. It is enjoyable for kids as they laughed a lot seeing the slime squeeze out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was excited to open this large toy as a Minecraft fan. This includes some slime, which luckily is not as sticky and some other brands, that you can pump through the larger character and comes out of its mouth. It was slightly difficult to get the slime to come out and unfortunately he lost interest pretty quickly. The toy is larger than expected. The smaller character can be played with in many different ways which was a plus. I just wish there were other play options for the larger one as well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is very detailed for a child that loves Minecraft! It comes with a packet of slime that my daughter found very fun to put into the toy and play with. It was easy to put together and take apart. My daughter is now looking for what other Minecraft toys might be available.
