For any and every beader: these are a basic and an essential that should be bought BEFORE you start beading. I watched innumerable beading diys w/o ever seeing or hearing anything about these things. Trust me: you do NOT want to string beads on wire or even cord, keeping it all taped up vertically and then try to close with a cri.p bead ---- that promptly fails! Remember Pick Up Sticks!?!

These work great for my projects. Before I purchased these I was taping my wire at the end of the bead strand
