If you need that kind of work done you will want a full sized saw. For general small branches, briars, bushes and vines this saw is all you need. Get the two battery model because one battery will probably not be enough to get it all done, depends on how much brush you need to cut down. Plus the two battery deal comes with a basic hard case to store it in, good value even if it is cheaply made. Good news is you don't have to oil the bar or bother with gas mixtures to use it. Just put a battery on it and you're ready to cut some logs. It does come with one spare chain and I'm not sure how I'd even sharpen the blades so I do hope someone makes spare chains for these saws for when these wear out.

This mini chainsaw is incredibly convenient, practical, and powerful! It's almost as good as a large chainsaw if you need to trim trees or remove saplings. It can be operated with one hand, so you can hold onto branches with your other hand. It comes with a spring-loaded guard to protect your face from bounces. I easily felled a Norway spruce about 14 feet tall and 6 inches in diameter with this little chainsaw. Its compact size makes it very maneuverable in tight spaces. Furthermore, you can run away with the chainsaw when the tree falls without worrying about it dropping. The battery life is also excellent: I felled and cut the tree into several sections using only one battery, and the battery was still fully charged when I finished.

I like how small it is and how easy it is to use. I've small hands and have injured my dominant forearm so it's nice and doesn't have much kick back. Cuts through most small limbs and bushes and even thicker vines easily. Struggles with anything bigger than your forearm.

I got this because I have no trees and during a recent storm a very large branch from my neighbor's tree fell into my yard. Parts were as much as 5 to 6 inches in diameter. I was very surprised at how well this cut everything up I needed it to cut, but the motor overheats quickly then shuts off until it cools back down. This prolonged everything, but as I said it worked very well. My recommendation would be if you are making multiple cuts, let it sit for a couple of minutes between cuts.

first of all they sent me the wrong color. I requested green and they sent me a yellow one. I tried cutting three different types of wood and each time the saw would get stuck before I even made it halfway into the wood. especially with pine and none of the pieces of what I tried to cut were thicker than 4 inches in diameter. at times the chain would get stuck before I even started to cut the wood. I watched several videos and even spoke to a friend of mine who owns one and tried everything to get this thing to cut; loosening the chain, tightening the chain, slight oil and still continue to get stuck. may have been a defective device I watched other videos where this little saw cut through six and seven inch pieces of wood. either way it's not too bad for very small branches or pruning but I will be returning it as it did not meet my expectations.

My husband used this for the first time the other day and was terribly disappointed by its performance. It wouldn't cut the smallest stick on the shrubs without holding it. And then, the blade flew off. He put the blade back on and it flew off again. At this point, he was frustrated and was done with trying to use it.
