Mini Grease Gun (3Oz Refill) 2 Way Dispensing

Excellent addition to full size grease gun. For lubricating ZTR mower this simplifies prep for use. Need to release trapped air by loosing top allowing air to escape and retightening during use to use full 3oz cartridge.

I've used this over the years for greasing boat trailer wheel bearings. Its small size makes it easy to carry so you can grease the wheel bearings at the ramp before launching. It is well built and reliable. If an air bubble gets into the pump it won't operate. The solution is to unscrew the barrel from the pump head slightly to let the air escape. I have found it works much better if you use the cardboard tubes of grease than if you try to load bulk grease.

I've ran about ten tubes of grease through this thing, so I'd say i can do a pretty fair review. First off, I'd like to say I'm pretty darn happy with this product. I've owned it about a year. It works really well. It doesn't leak. The trigger is comfortable and i like that you can configure it two ways. Build quality is excellent. Every time I pull the boat out of the water, I hit the steering system zerks on the outboard's clamp bracket and the trailer's wheel bearings real quick with marine grease. This gun makes it super easy. Since it doesn't have a lever, I can do it one handed. That's a pretty nice feature if you're bending down or reaching over things. The tubes are simple enough to change. The knurling on the body makes it easy to twist open. The T-handle is comfortable to yank on for its small size. It always seems to empty the tube completely. Changing tubes is easy. When you screw the new tube back in, leave it a few turns loose. Then, pull back on the T-handle and let it slam to push the air out. If you hear it hiss for a couple seconds, tighten it up and pump away. I plan on buying another one. There's a special grease for the bushings in the aftermarket shackles on my truck. That grease only comes in 3 oz tubes.

This grease gun is perfect for my needs on my lawnmower. Its compact and easily reaches the grease point between the wheels and frame. Very affordable.

Just the right size for small jobs

I like the sturdiness of the gun and ease of taking apart but the nozzle seems to be a "needle" type? I will have to remove the nozzle off of my old defunct grease gun. Would recommend unit if had correct nozzle.

Didn't know it used cartridges. The one I have won't lock the plunger out as it is supposed to.

Have purchased two of these to use for my boat trailer. I didn't use them often, so when they failed, I could not return them. The last one I bought did not pump more than two tubes of grease before it stopped pumping. Don't waste your money buying one.

Great little gun but getting the tip off of a fitting is very very hard. Returned.
