This little cooler works very well keeping insulin in desired temperature range. The battery has a relatively long life to maintain the temperature while unplugged. One negative is that the adjustment buttons are very sensitive and can be inadvertently changed to unwanted temperature settings.

Overall this is a really nice product for travel. It is just big enough to hold my insulin bottles and or pens. The device cools rapidly and works off of battery for 6-8 hours depending on ambient temperature. The refrigerator utilizes a 5v 3amp 5.5mm barrel connector. The included usb A to 5.5mm can be utilized to both recharge and run the device at the same time. The usb A cable can be run with and charger capable of outputting 3.0 amps. There is a charger supplied but I have better chargers with multiple outputs, extra usb cables cans be purchased from many providers. Device can also be powered with any large 5v usb backup battery. For travel the device weighs 2LBs and 3 ounces without cables or chargers. So you may wonder why on 4 stars for the review. First the instructions only come in simplified Chinese. I utilized google translate to figure out what the instructions said in English. There are 4 buttons: power, settings and temperature up and down. Temperature is only given in degrees Celsius. The description given by the seller is also misleading as to the number of batteries. It comes with one not two battery packs. The pack is listed as an NCR 18650B the pack has three 18650 batteries in it. Additional batteries can be purchased over seas at Ali for about $19. The battery comes disconnected and must be connected before charging. A major annoyance with the unit is the fact that the on/off switch is very sensitive and is prone to turn is self on if the unit is bounced or touched in the wrong way. To prevent accidentally turning on the unit and discharging the battery the battery must be disconnected. The unit really could use a redesign with a battery switch. In summary I am very pleased by the unit itself and the versatility for travel despite the description problem and minor flaws.

It's quite big but the real drawback is- it's very noisy- can hear it vibrating from quite a distance- also didn't seem to get to proper temperature- would not recommend
