This phone is tiny and absolutely adorable! Its about the size of two zippo lighters and fits in a small pocket. Its pretty snappy for being a little thing and its a great first phone for a kid. The android platform is solid and there is full access to the app store. I got it for my son so he can use FB messenger and stay in touch with his friends and he absolutely loves it!
For the price, I wasn't expecting much, and I was still disappointed. I really just wanted to use it as an MP3 player/iPod, but it was difficult even for that. First red flag. There is NO setup process. The phone just goes straight to the home screen. I thought maybe it was used, but even after a factory reset, it still just restarts back to the home screen without any Android setup menus. Second, using a third party app to confirm the specs, they do technically match what's listed on this website, but the phone itself lists WAY higher specs. It's obvious the OS has been modified to spoof fake specs. Next, using the Android debloater tool, there were several hidden processes that seemed suspicious, including one called “call recorder”. Next, for some reason, it will only connect to a computer or even charge with USB C to A cables. Neither work at all with USB C to C cables. It is kind of slow, but not too bad at this price point. Despite all these issues, I probably have still used it except for two deal breakers: 1. The bottom row of keys on the keyboard are very hard to press, which seems due to it overlapping with the swipe gesture at the bottom. And, despite the old version (8.1) of Android it runs, the option to switch back to the old navigation buttons has been completely removed. 2. There is this floating action/menu type button, that would probably be great on a large screen phone, but on one with this tiny of a screen, just constantly gets in the way. And I checked every menu in the settings I could find, and there does not appear to be ANY way to disable it. Whoever made that design choice REALLY needs to reconsider. I could have dealt with the other issues, but those last two just made the phone maddening just trying to do simple tasks like adding songs.
the tuch scree doesn't do a good job
