Minn Kota Quick Release Bracket MKA-32
The Minn Kota Motor MKA-32 trolling motor release bracket is well designed, very robust aluminum construction, and easily mounts to the motor and boat. The quick release lever allows the user to remove the motor from the boat quickly and easily with the use of any tools.

Very secure trolling motor mount.
The MKA-32 is the tightest and most secure, yet removable trolling motor mount I have used. Although it does cost more than the MKA-16 and MKA-23, it is a tighter fit than both and easier to use than the thumbscew or pins on the other mounts. Only note is that the lock lever was very hard to pull the first few times as the parts have to fit together very tight. I lubed it and it did get easier after a few times of use. The lever and latch are plastic and the cam plate is metal. I would question the life of the plastic parts if the operation would remain that hard. The top and bottom aluminum plates interlock which provides the secure fit. I expect the latch will continue to get easier as the plates mate and break in together. No movement at all with an 80# thrust trolling motor on the water. Also nice to be able to add a padlock when needed.

Great product
This bracket is the best I have a ipolit 112lb thrust 72" long. The quick release bracket that boat dealer put on broke almost lost trolling motor in ocean. It was wrong bracket for it. I did some research and found this bracket. Works great trolling motor is solid no wiggle.
