Motor installation was easy. I-pilot just needed power hook up and done. However the Omni Sensor did Not come with the 1 amp inline fuse link, or connectors for battery hook up!!!😡. Dealer didn't even suggest that you Have to have this to install it. A simple part that Should have already been connected to the Omni Link. C9me on! Somebody get with the program.

At the time of this review, I can say I am fully satisfied with the performance of the unit. It was chosen due to it having a anchor function which was very important to me. At the time of this review I can say I have so far been fully satisfied with the performance of the unit. It was installed on a 24' Sportsman bay boat.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) found a new use for the Minn Kota Spot-lock: getting your lure out of being stuck in the rope of a lobster buoy while trolling. Pulled up right next to the buoy, hit the spot lock and stayed right there without moving until I could pull it up and get my lure back. Nice!

I love the iTrack features, I've recorded several of my favorite sections on the lake and now instead of messing around with the trolling motor I just drive near where the start (or finish) of the track is, deploy the motor and select the track and speed. That's it! When I get a fish on you simply hit the spot-lock "anchor" and it will hold the boat in place while you take care of getting the fish in the boat! Once you're done simply go back to the iTrack and it will pick up where you left off. Trolling is another awesome feature, just set your heading and your speed, drop your lines, site back and enjoy your favorite beverage! The handheld unit displays ground speed as well so you can adjust for just the right trolling speed. I enjoy my pontoon boat so much more now! It's given me the best of both worlds, awesome bass fishing AND crappie fishing machine!

I ordered the riptide model because it was the only thing available at the time. I've had great luck with it and honestly it has everything I need for my style of fishing.

I have bought something else that is smarter than me! Love the Spot Lock and the "Cruise Control" that allows us to troll with little effort. Love it.

About a year ago today best thing I've ever use I haven't use my anchor in over a year but today it went out on me

I have had this trolling motor for about a year. I love the features and the convenience, but it makes way too much noise when turning. I took my boat back to the dealer within 2 weeks of purchase for them to look at it and they did not fix it. Now I have the trolling motor at a Minn Kota service center to see if they can fix the noise issue. If it can't be made quieter, I will be removing it and replacing with something else. My old cable drive was way better at this point.

2 years and 3 months since i own my third minn kota motor. I see now heavy corrosion inside lower unit and i have to buy it full parts as my warranty does not work for 3 little months. This is the first issue i have on my Last terrova. Older versions of riptide were for me better built and more sealed. As nobody around Minn Kota dealers want to understand my situation, it might be the time to swap to another brand.

I bought a Terrova Riptide based on the information listed below from Minn Kota. When I went to redeem the missing parts MInn Kota said product does not qualify. Will never buy another Minn Kota product. This product has been impacted by global supply chain shortages.
