The 5-in-1 Sports Set is a good value considering what it includes. The younger kids in the family have enjoyed playing these games. They have used outdoors and indoors. The only ones they have played indoors is the ring toss and they set of the bowling set in the hallway, so that the hallway could be used as their “bowling lane”. My actual favorite use of this set, was this weekend at our local “Trunk or Treat”. I set up the ring toss, it’s very easy to set up and worked out perfect for the trunk or treat! I can definitely see also using the ring toss for any carnival type event for school classrooms, scouting events or church events for younger kids. The older kids have really only been interested in laying with the scoop ball, and Velcro toss. The younger kids, seem to enjoy all.
I have a grandson that comes and stays with me a lot so I was looking for something to help pass the time and have a little fun without breaking the bank. This does that. We love the little bowling set and the ring toss most. I will have to admit the Pink and Green Velcro Toss and Catch Ball Mitt, I had to use my industrial strength glue to make the pieces stay together, otherwise the ball sticks so tightly to the Velcro that the entire Mitt comes completely apart. I made sure my glue was made for plastic to plastic adhesion. All the other pieces in the box are just fine too but the best is the ring toss.
I have three kids, ages 4, 7 and 10. They spent a few fun filled hours outside playing with this set. It's pretty generic and all plastic, but they still very much enjoyed it and so far it has held up to their play. Bowling was a favorite so far. They also enjoyed the ring toss. The retractable wifle bat was also a big hit. It's a great thing to put out if kids have friends over to play too.
My great grand children loved the set. With the exception of the one that has the ball that when caught sticks to the velcro and kids had such a hard time getting the ball unstuck. Eventually the whole pad came loose. But I thought for under $6 it wasn't much of a loss. Of course that one was Brantley's favorite!
My 3 year old loves these outdoor beach games. They’re good to keep outside for some outdoor fun. They are somewhat cheaply made so they won’t last long. Keeps the kids entertained during summer time. The bat doesn’t work too well and the ring toss is very flimsy.
This is a decent little set for little ones. The pieces are pretty flimsy and probably won't last long but good for some cheap fun. My daughter is having a birthday party in a few weeks and plans to have some of the games set out so the younger kids can have something to do.
Overall this isn't bad. Ring toss, Velcro game, and toss game are all good. However, the bowling set only comes with y pins instead of 10. The bowling ball itself is very small. This game would be rates for kids 3 and under. The bat is a 2 piece bat. The handle slides inside of the bat itself which makes this a terrible concept because it keeps sliding in and out and doesn't work the greatest. Again, I'd rank this for 3 years and under.
This is a cute set with multiple games that can be played. It is not sturdy at all with the balls so you can easily squeeze to hard and then it's no good. If you have a small child it will be just fine maybe younger than 7 but my 9 yo son plays rough and this will not last long. I really like the variety. We didn't do too well with the bat and ball with the windy weather. Overall we enjoyed the games. A carry case would be great!
The 5-in-1 sports set, Family Games, Outdoor Yard Games, Beach Games, Jr. Sports is a good idea. The fact that there are five games in one box is amazing. The choices are fun and easy to use. There is nothing hard about putting these games together. I can tell some thought was put into picking the right games. It was fun for what it was worth. What I don't like is that when we began to play I noticed that the lable's began to peel or come off. The more we played the more they began to fall apart. Play time was not a matter of days it was in the same day that theses things began to happen. The Idea was awesome but the play time is a no for me. Because of the quick ware and tare I would no recommend it to friends.
Got this thinking it would be much bigger than what it is. My six year old son lost intrest after playing with it three times on diffrent days. The last time he used it I kind of forced him to play with it because he needed some outdoor activities. He says that it is boring to play and wanted something for bigger kids. The bowling ball is just about the same size as the wiffle and velcro toss game. Had to bowl on the pario because the ball was too small for the grass. My 4 year old daughter seems to like it especially when someone else is playing with her regardless who it is. I think anyone over the age of five may not enjoy it as much as younger kids. It still makes outdoor playtime a little more fun when more than two people are using it.
