A little skunk bait to enchant the little critters (but not cats!) and bam- you got it trapped. Then you can pick it up and dispose/relocate as you see fit! Way better for skunks than a "cage" style live trap!! Small %26 light weight enough to easily move or store away when not in use!

Had a skunk in the back yard - after spraying my dog twice it was time to remove it. Bought this and 4 hours later with a little peanut butter I caught him! Easy to set! Skunk couldn't raise tail so couldn't spray me. Dunked him in a trash can of water and 5 mins later had a funeral. Easier than catching a mouse in a mouse trap in my opinion!

This skunk trap is no joke. We had a different brand before and needed a new one that was more heavy duty, and this one is just that. I did some comparison shopping and Sportsman Guide offered the best product in reviews that I read. Just what you need if you have a skunk problem. Excellent product at a great price.

Works well once you figure out sensitivity of trap door. Caught two skunks back to back after placing trap in walking path. Placed a small amount of Spam meat on outside with increasingly larger pieces on inside on trigger.

Spotted skunks can still lift there tail and spray but trap worked great to catch it

The front door was not connected I found broken rivets in the box, had to find bolt and nut to put front cover on and finger out how to latch it and make sure that it worked so it wasn't loose

The design and quality is ok but the skunks wont go in it. I got a opossum and that's about it. I used peanut butter and marshmallows and used a trail method. Put a piece right in front of trap and another one just in the door of trap and finally on the trap plate. He ate the one in front of trap reached in and grabbed the second one but that's it, never went in the trap. I tried tuna also. There're just too smart. I should have spent my money on Grubex instead.
