Minwax 1 qt. Gel Stain, White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used minwax gel stain on a great number of furniture projects. The quality is excellent. Colors between different cans always match perfectly. I also see no color fading in the 15 years I've been using MinWax. Just cannot say enough good things about it. Customer for life.

I googled to see if there was a wood stain that will cover over painted wood. MinWax came up. Bought it and SO HAPPY I did!! It is flippin beautiful!! I didnt sand my base board either. Base boards were painted white. Wanted wood look. Very much recommend this product!!!!

I have used Minwax stains for many years while building houses. This new gel product is easier to use, more forgiving, better coverage. I recently used it on very difficult to stain maple cabinets and it worked fantastic, very even coat, no blotches, wonder natural look. Most highly recommended.

First time using gel stain and super happy with the results. Using hickory on stair banister and posts to match new floors. Great coverage and couldn't be easier. Cleaned all parts to be stained, light sand and applied with a sock. Very happy with the results.

Bought Gel Stain about 6 weeks ago to paint a Formica coffee table. It went on easy and was given 2 thin coats. After it was thoroughly dry 2 thin coats of satern polyurethane was applied. Finished job came out awesome. Only time will tell how well the gel stain adhered to the Formica as far as chipping goes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do a fair amount of small projects with wood and I always choose minwax to stain the wood. This gel stain is incredible. Brushes on easily and covers well. Also true to color which was important to me.

It is Nice and thick so it doesn't drip when applying, since I stain the walking canes I carve, it is great for the vertical application since it doesn't drip. It doesn't streak goes on evenly. Since it is think it is easier to control when applying, I recommend using a top coat when finished staining, I don't think I will go back to a liquid stain after using this. A++

Noticed too late way too overpriced, it arrived late and they didn't give me any time to return it. That's one way to make money. Rip off.
