Minwax Paste Finishing Wax, Special Dark, 1 lb

I used this wax for several things because it was recommended to me. I covered scratches on my wood floor, my countertop, and a very old antique armoire. I followed the directions and it did a wonderful job!

I applied this to worn hardwood floors that should really be refinished. I applied it with a wide paint brush to the most worn spots, and with a cloth to the rest. I polished with a “gentle” (low quality) floor polisher, using soft buffing pads. The floor improved with one application, but really began to look lustrous with two applications. Applying it was not very fun, but I am impressed with the results.

I had a can that lasted me for years, this was a replacement. I use for DIY wood projects.

Really made my cabinets look great after using Dawn Power Wash to clean them.

best there is for waxing over a tung oil finish.

The dark color lookes great on my brick floors. Has a great shine when buffed out and will last a long time with regular buffing.

Never tried this product before I will, and hopefully it will be excellent.

I used this on my piano that was a little lackluster. I followed the directions and fund that the paste was pretty hard to buff off without making a smeary mess. I think the varnish on the piano wasn't allowing it to soak in. however, I used it on a raw wood lroject and it did a great job bringing out the richness in the wood without making it shiny.

I love this wax for use over chalk paint to give it a matte sheen while protecting the finish.

Very satisfied. Product worked as promised.
