Minwax Polycrylic Protective Finish, Clear Semi-Gloss, Clear, 1/2 Pint

I have already finished my painting project and the Minwax was exactly what I needed to make it pop!

I've used this before when I painted my bathroom cabinets. I had bought a quart before and paid about the price I paid for this little container. The stuff is great the price just jumped drastically

takes a bit of technique to apply it. suggest looking at few YouTube videos before applying. worked well for me on a grained table top, so I was not looking for a super smooth finish. suggested 3 coats, quick drying time, with a 24 hr. wait before using the item.

Had an order where someone wanted stain. Honesty, Im terrified of stain because of its combustible qualities. Thos was very easy to apply (i chose the brush method). The stink lingered bad so make sure you have proper ventilation! We kept it outside for 5 days and still had some smell on day 4. All in all, easy application!

I've had outstanding results with Minwax Polycrylic Protective Finish, and it has become a staple in my workshop. The ease of use is one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back to it. Applying it is simple whether you're brushing, spraying, or dipping, and it levels out beautifully without heavy brush marks. One of my more unique uses for it is sealing my 3D printed fishing lures. I dip each lure into the Polycrylic and then rotate it on a lure turner to get an even, flawless coat. I had good results when I recently used this product. When I first opened the can I was very skeptical and weary bc it looks a milky blue color and definitely not a crystal clear color that is advertised. But I quickly realized it is colored like that to help you see where your applying it and that milky color helps you to get even coats. I was also impressed with how quickly it dried. It did seem to vanish into the piece I was using so I had to apply like 7-8 coats but hopefully it was stay nice and shinny for a few years. The can is very little and comes with a pretty high price tag ... so keep that in mind if you plan to use this on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] mixing- 5/5 application-5/5 (super easy and really spreads well clean up - 10/5 !! - wash and rinse- could not be easier. Finish - 4/5 - keeping thin coats and sanding at 400# is critical - water raised fibers are very prominent and need sanding between each coat. Overall impressions - excellent material, easy to use and super clean finish. Recommended to several friends based on experience.. Great Product!!

Have used this forever. It's clear coat to protect your project.
