Minwax Wipe-On Poly Water-Based Polyurethane Finish, Satin, Clear, 1 Pint

Very easy to apply. I used a lint free cloth to apply. Looks awesome as the protective finish on a painted dresser.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used all the different brands and kinds of polycrylic sealer. Brush on, water based, oil based, interior and exterior. Minwax Water Based wipe On Poly is now by far my favorite. Less clean up. Wipe it on and toss the rag. And its water based to easy peasy clean up if needed. I go through alot of this stuff as a wood sign maker. Im a new convert!

I have children and pets and I wanted something that would keep them looking nice. They are a dark cherry wood color. I am not a pro at DIY repairs by any means so I needed something with no frills that was easy to both understand and execute. This wipe on poly worked beautifully and was so easy. I am definitely pleased.

I used a soft cloth to apply which made it super easy. I also did the light sanding which helped the product produce even better results. I was happy after 2 applications but I went ahead and did a 3rd coat since the furniture piece I was working on was small. It does dry fast, which is great. Very happy with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this wipe on product for a dresser that I use in my kitchen for additional storage and work space. I wanted to be sure that the dresser wouldn't be ruined when food and liquid spilled. This wipe on poly went on so easily and so smooth! It took so little time to do and dried without any streaking or bubbles. Be sure to apply outside or in a well ventilated area. I highly recommend this product for any furniture that you want to protect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] MINWAX ( water based) Wipe-On Poly clear gloss works great! This particular bottle is 16 fl..oz. This is perfect for small jobs or actually bigger ones like my son used it for. He wanted to put it on his dad's bedroom floor- which worked perfectly & we had just enough to finish. Easy to use- Shake well, apply a small amount on a clean rag, & apply. We waited a few hours and went over it with a very low grade sand paper & then reapplied a second coat. We let stand for about a day & half ( while we worked on other projects) went back to this beautiful floor! I personally like this kind rather than the can so much easier to use & I believe less of. Love!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MINIWAX Wipe-On polyurethane clear Satin stain is simple to use. I used a dry cloth to apply the stain to a wooden door emblem. I really like that product is water based making any spills or “hiccup “ easy to remedy. Clean up is so easy when using this product. I also plan on using to touch up some areas on an older hardwood floor that has some scratches. Would recommend to family and friends.

You can see the different right away and it won't stain after it has dried off. The water base isn't as long lasting as others but it works well while it lasts.
