Really Cool!!!!

CARLA August 11, 2020

Great product. The camera was extremely easy to setup and install. It just worked. The video was easy to download. Will be buying one for each car. The only thing that would have been nice was if a micro SD to SD converter was included in box.

Very nice dash cam

Niecy August 9, 2020

I really love everything about this dash cam. It was very easy set up. It basically does everything itself digitally. You can see everything so clearly. I love how you can edit and set everything on it as well easily on the computer or smart phones. Audio is great. Card reader is easily removed. Thank you sparks for allowing me to review this product I really love the quality of this product

Nice size dashcam but a bit fiddly with menu

PhilD August 12, 2020

Nice webcam, comes with a micro sd card which is a plus, the power cord is a good length to feed round your vehicle to hide it away. the mount is unfortunately a suction cup type so in the hot sun it does come off occasionally, the ball mount is very stiff and not easy to adjust you have to hold the complete unit to do this I found. Plus Easy size, not to big Starts recording as soon as it has power. Plenty of power cord length gps function to track location if incident occurs cons suction mount to windshield no adapters available for other mounts menu is a little hard going instructions very, very limited Coclusion Not a bad dashcam but it has some limitations especially with the mount, menu is a little long and fiddly plus the instructions are no help. but if you need a dashcam it works and records a wide picture.

Great little dashcam!

ski22 August 12, 2020

This mini dash camera is a nice litter dashcam. I like the size of it as it's not overly large to distract you while viewing. The cord is extremely long so you can snake it around the top or bottom of your windshield to your accessory plug outlet. Video/Picture quality is exceptional, so the detail should be their when needed. The MiVue can also record sound as you're driving, recording doesn't start until I'm guessing the built in GPS senses you're moving. The MiVue uses a standard MicroSD memory card. The dashcam comes with 16Gb card but easy enough to upgrade to something bigger. I know after an hour of driving I had used about 5.2G of space, so the size of the card will depend on how much driving time you want to save. For me the 16G card is more than enough. And a big plus, the MiVue IS NOT MADE IN CHINA! I realize many people are concerned with that as I am. Some drawbacks to the MiVue is the power cord, it uses a 12 volt (cigarette lighter plug) to power the camera, but there is no USB accessory plug on the end of it. So, if you own a car with just a single 12-volt accessory plug and you're currently using it to charge you cell phone, then you will need to find a 12-volt accessory plug splitter. It would have been nice if MiVue had supplied USB port on the 12-volt adapter so people could charge their cell phones while using the dashcam. I know at the time of this review my local Walmart did sell the EverStart Plus Auto Auxiliary Dual 12 Volt Power Outlet. Another thing I noticed is GPS occasionally loses signal, but not too often and mostly when going under heavy tree canopy, yet my cell phone didn't seem to lose GPS signal, so probably related to the sensitivity of the GPS chip in the MiVue and not really enough to be an issue. Overall, though this is a winner and I recommend the MiVue if you're looking for a good quality dashcam!

Nice Dash Camera

LanceBoil August 11, 2020

This is a nice dash cam with several useful features, some of which I still have to fully explore. It records at 1080 with the Sony Starvis CMOS with a 150 degree field of view. I find that it records fairly well at night, but it seems to be a little susceptible to glare. Another nice feature is that it has GPS included so that your speed and position will be saved with every recording. This is a Media Manager available for download to help you organize your recordings with a helpful quick start guide to download as well. I really like this camera and I'm sure I'll like it even more the more I explore and use it. I almost forgot, it comes with a 16 GB MicroSD card as well, very handy to get started with.
