Mio® Two-Tone Turnout Medium (Navy/Red, 81")

Rambo and Amigo blankets are a perfect fit for horses with deeper necks, and broad shoulders. The Mio turnout doesn't rub, stays in place, and is perfect without extra bulk. I occaisionally top it with the Amigo waterproof sheet just to add a bit more warmth.

My OTTB loves this blanket!! Keeping him nice and warm and fits him well! would recommend to anyone! I like that it doesn't have leg straps, no need when it fits properly, because my tb somehow always manages to get his legs in between the actual strap. I don't have to worry with this blanket!

I fell in love with the Horseware brand after seeing how well their products fit my thoroughbred (17hh) and how durable they are. So when my other 2 retired horses were in the market for winter blankets I knew I really wanted to stick with Horseware products. Shopping for blankets for my old guys is tough. My morgan who is 14.1 has a long body with short legs and my quarter is 16.1 with typical stocky features (and some extra chubby lol). I took a gamble and ordered 2 Mios, and they ended up fitting wonderfully! No miniskirt or muumuu issues. The Mio is a great quality blanket and the 200g fill is perfect for SoCal winters. Only thing is I wish that Horseware could make more color options, the navy/red combo is not very attractive on either horse lol.

I bought this for my little 3 yr. old Arab gelding. He is very fine featured and I was really happy to find a nice turnout in a size 66. It fit him perfectly and I really liked the way it was made. There were no leg straps to contend with and I consider this a plus. Rambo is known for great products with a lot of research put into them. The downside was that I realized after the blanket was here that it was only 600 denier outer so I had to send it back. I know that the way my boys play it would have been ripped up within hours! So sad because the price was great.

Wonderful product at a very reasonable price. Rambo quality on a budget.

I bought this on clearance for my Quarter Horse gelding and the blanket is beautiful, the length is perfect, but there's not enough room in the front for big Quarter Horse shoulders. :( The front is not adjustable either, so what you see is what you get. Big bummer because the blanket seems great otherwise! Back it goes!

I bought this for my pony last winter. It has held up really well, even though he plays a bit with some of the other geldings in his field. I was pleasantly surprised that it held its waterproofing through the entire season and is still going strong this year too, given its inexpensive price. I was initially skeptical of the fact that it had no back leg straps, but it has stayed in place VERY well on him with just the strap under the tail. I liked the blanket so much, that I purchased another one in a larger size for the TB I purchased this fall. I still like the blanket, but find that on a longer backed horse that the tail strap is maybe not quite as efficient at keeping the blanket on straight. The TB or his friends have not managed to remove the blanket from him entirely and he never looks uncomfortable, but I find that I often have to give his a tug or two to straighten it when he comes in from the field. Overall though, I'm happy with this blanket and would both buy it again and recommend it to a friend.

Needed a slightly heavier blanket for some winter nights in our mile climate and this one fits the bill , not too heavy but more than a sheet.

I was not very impressed with this blanket as the front closure buckles are very hard to hook together and I was totally surprised to see a turnout blanket without rear leg straps to prevent turning, that was a first in about 30 years!!!
