Miracle-Gro 8qt Perlite

This perlite is consistently perfect! I have bought many bags, as I am a plant enthusiast, and it keeps my plants draining just as I want. I also use it making hypertufa flower pots like crazy. It works wonderfully and is always uniform. Never clumped and very easy to pour from the bag. Even the packaging is great. Lightweight but so tough i save the empty bags and carry them with me to collect my deadheads and trimmings for the compost pile! Provides a lot of bang for your buck!

I had never used perlite before but felt I should when planting some tall grasses. It was exactly as described and easy to mix in with my potting soil. So far my new plants are doing really well. When the opportunity arises I would definitely ues perlite again and would recommend it to others.

This is a great product that helps my plants thrive. I mix it with potting soil to help with the drainage. I like to buy the two pack since I go through so much of it. It is easy to use and it stores nicely until I need it again. I always wear a mask when I'm pouring it into my soil or I stand upwind so I don't inhale the dust from the perlite. You can also spray the perlite before you use it to cut down on the dust, but I don't bother with that. It's just easier to pour it right into the soil and mix it around. I'll usually mix in a little fertilizer as well.

I keep this stuff around to amend the soil on some of my plants that don't like wet feet and various container plants. Sometimes this is hard to find but Walmart has several bags in stock so I was able to keep my plants alive and happy for a good price.

Always a staple at my potting bench. Good quality perlite, full bag and minimal dust. I use it to create an airy mix for my aroids and mix it 50/50 with fluval for my tissue culture plantlets.

Miracle-Gro perlite works amazingly. it's a must have when you're potting your plants. it always improves the drainage of any of the pots you use and the benefit of miracle grow plant food is always great

This works great! I bought it to help grow and pot some plants I brought back from Hawaii. It improves soil drainage really well—hoping they thrive in it!
