Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix for Outdoor and Indoor Plants, 1 cu. ft. 2-pack

This is truly the absolute best potting soil. Some potting soils are much to heavy and compacted... more suitable for gardens or to use as topsoil in your lawn. However, this potting mix is light and fluffy, contains the fertilizer and water holding crystals. It is the cadilac of potting mixes if you ask me. Must have a pretty good amount of peat moss in it because it is so light and easy to work with. Trust me, this particular mix is wonderful and definitely worth the money.

Excellence of Miracle-Gro products is well known this particular product is better than the others I've used in the past because it absorbs the water so much which makes it perfect for planting. Inexpensive, solid and reliable product. A perfect choice for any Garden!

For indoor plants, I find the trickiest part is watering without overwatering. If you haven't tried bottom watering, I highly recommend it. It solved my fungus gnat problem without chemicals. This soil has sponge qualities that also work very nicely, particularly if you are like me and only get to watering one day a week. This soil can easily hold water that long and still drains well enough to avoid root rot.

Only brand of potting mix I buy & I buy it at Sam's Club when I can since it's a better price than at other places like Lowe's & Home Depot.

This review is not anything against the product itself, in fact, it is a very good product. My review has to do with the product showing up half full, with a blank delivery tag attached to the bag, covering up the leaking hole in the bag. Maybe I shouldn't have ordered a 1 cu ft. bag of dirt (potting soil) and expect that it would make it intact! I'm a little older now and I thought that it would be a little easier to have it delivered! I know it would, just maybe "all of it" would have been nice!

Very disappointed,and this is a first. I have always grown beautiful flowers and plants with miracle grow. For whatever reason, this bag was lower quality,and higher price. It contained ALLOT of small wood peices and chips. even found a few rocks! Even after discarding them, my flowers began to wilt and turn brown. Im not sure what happened with this batch. Not sure if I will trust it again. perhaps it is a new cost control thing during production, I dont know.

Walmart delivered to me however the product came from outside where it was not protected from rain and seeped into bag which in turn ruins the product and weighs ten time's more thanwhich it should be .

Total waste of money! Little white bugs all throughout the bag! I kept the bag in the box it came in, until my daughter could come help me repot my plants. She came up this weekend. We opened the box and then the bag, and bugs literally flew out at us and others were crawling in the bag. She had to take the bag down to the dumpster to get it out of my house. So disappointed.
