Skeptical buying this because it was iron but after 1/2 day assembly (help from my 23 yo) was happily surprised with the sturdiness. Very happy with the results and works perfectly in the room. Easy instructions, no delivery problems ; no damaged parts. Highly recommended.
I was very pleased that this was exactly what we needed. I wanted a lost for my some with mild left side CP. He needed stairs because ladders were too difficult to navigate and having the shelf prevents him from rolling off during sleep. it fit PERFECTLY in his small room and gives him away more space to play below. even my bf had to get up in it to change out the bedroom ceiling light and it held together for him. I love being able to sit on the stairs and read to him at bedtime without disturbing him once asleep.
Amazing purchase, I'm 18 years old 160lbs and 6'3 this bed is amazing I love the style and the stairs instead of a ladder, it's extremely sturdy and stable, wasn't hard to assemble and I got a 10in mattress so I'm not caged in on the top and its perfect, I have a mini pull out couch under and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone
I assembled this by myself [69-year-old granny]. The instructions were immaculate and everything aligned perfectly. Love it. Just a note; please be sure you have 92 inches of floor to ceiling height without obstacles when it comes time to rock this bad boy to its feet.
Putting this bed together was very time consuming. There is literally 85 steps to assemble it. It takes more than one person. It comes with two different size Allen wrench (they are very small). Plan on using your own. Once it was assembled its perfect! We chose the full size. It's very tall and very wide. Make sure to have enough space before you order. It's time consuming but worth it!
Assembly took a while only bc it has a lot of parts! The instructions were easy to follow. My husband and I did the assembly. It’s for my son but my husband climbed in the bed to make sure it was safe he isn’t a small man (6’ tall about 260lbs) and it held him fine!
It's sturdy and good for opening up your space a little bit more. It's easy to build as well, but does require assistance. customer service was fantastic.
Our climbers had a metal bed from Wayfair that was wobbly and squeaked so much from the start. I assumed that was normal for loft beds. Ai recommended this particular bed for its sturdiness. Ai was right! This beautiful bed is solid; no swaying, no squeaking. The design and quality of this bed is top level. The climbing steps are super! Feels solid climbing up even for an adult. The storage underneath is brilliant. Putting it together was so easy. Parts nicely labeled. Even though our box was damaged during shipping (seller replaced wood panels that had dented corners) - the different metal and wood parts aligned so perfectly one could screw the screws in with bare hands. (And just tighten after.) The easiest assembly! Even the kids enjoyed helping. Only con is the shelf panels are too thin and even very careful install will visibly drive the screws toward the surface. Thats easily coverable. 10/10 actual utility rating of the shelf for drink spills that won't happen. Overall very happy. This will bring many years of happiness to our family, including our cat who has claimed the perch on top of the steps. Really well done. Thank you!
To note these are all suggestions for work arounds and or small issues I struggled with however I only had small cons regarding this bed frame I highly recommend it! I have an inflammatory condition which makes it hard to use my hands for long periods of time ie screwing screws by hand, by myself haha. Whether you have conditions or don't here are my suggestions Things to consider during Assembly by yourself Under bed assembly Putting together 9, 10, 11, and 12 these are the sides and the rods under the mattress. If you are by yourself, it is hard to assemble these pieces first and then add them to the rest of the bed frame. So I recommend attaching 11 and 12 to the partially assembled 1, 2, 6 and 3, 4, 7. The head and foot sides of the bed. Then add 13 underneath to make putting together 9, and 10 into 12 easier. I couldn't hold 9,10,11,12 up fully assembled to attach it to 1,2,3,4 so this is a bit of a work around. However even if you have help I think adding 13 underneath first will still be very helpful if you decide to do it the way I did it. Instead of lifting it assembled. The rods will have something to hold them up straight while you attach 12 so you can push them into the holes easier. I almost gave up at this point before I tried attaching 13. I was ready to ask my friend for help. Tools I recommend using your own tools plus the L tools included, the little screw driver included is not disability friendly or even building friendly it's so small and has a smooth plastic handle I could barely get any leverage holding it. Organize/ label If you tend to get easily confused with the screws or parts I recommend pre organizing them into little bins with labels some of them look so similar so I had a bit of a hard time at the end of assembly. And maybe sticky notes or something on the parts as the numbered stickers on them are very small and easy to miss. I pre-organized. The parts in terms of steps and what was being built, 1-7 bed frame, 8-14 18,19 lower bed frame/ sides , 15,16,17,40 bedside shelf, 20-42 not including 40 is the stairs, will conjoin to 3 and 4 Setting them aside in groups helped me put them together easier. Pros I really like that the stairs can be assembled on either side that is so convenient given my space I could have assembled it on the right side and saved myself the issue of it covering access to my closet. However I was simply giving it a try as I had a feeling I would return it. This bed frame is exactly as shown in the photos and is exactly how I imagined it in my space it gives extra space for my room since I can fit my desk underneath. The height is perfect as i can sit up on my bed without being too close to the ceiling. I like the bedside shelf. I like that the beam across the underside of the bed has a strip of foam underneath so when the rods touch it it doesn't clang my previous bed frame didn't have that it was annoying. This nicely adds to a space making it easier to hangout
I put it together by myself. I bought it for my apartment to give me more space in my tiny bedroom. It's great if you're in a tall ceiling area. The shelf could be a bit bigger with a built in plug in for phone. Stability wise it is a sturdy bed.
