Exhilarating! Fun Game play!

UncleRico November 19, 2008

This game is different from other FPS. The way she moves isn't typical, and the game play is really fun! The controls are very simple, and the character reaction is decent. I've heard the game is short (8 hours), but I haven't beat it yet. The Runner doesn't have her own guns, and the game isn't based on killing everyone. The cut scene grapics are kind of lame, and hopefully they'll correct that in the next game. There's no blood and hopefully they'll come out with another more graphic sequel.

Gift for a son

My son is 23...he wanted this game and tells me it is good...I don't play, so I can't say, but I looked at the game and it is done in exceptional detail.

Hot game

A work of art. The best game cover of all time. This game is not a typical FPS. You jump roof tops. You fight. A first in this genre.

Quite good!

Brenton2 May 25, 2012

This game is quite good! The graphics might be a bit dated by today's expectations, but the look still holds well. It does provide a nice 'free-runners' virtual experience. I was surprised to have played it as long as I did - trying to best my time with each run through. Download the DLC if you want new spaces to run through; and they're fun, too! I had a lot of fun taking down enemies while still maintaining a 'flow' through a level. The 'Take Downs' are more immersive here than what was done in Matrix games. It would have been nice if the DLC granted a stereoscopic 3D version, as sometimes it's difficult to time a jump when you can't tell how far an object may be from the heroine. This was a problem when I first started playing the game. However, once you get a feel for when to time your jumps, and other feats of acrobatics, you'll appreciate the game even more. For what it's priced at now, it's even better. Given how fast you could go in a level there are some 'screen tearing,' as the visual try to keep up with you.

Okay, I've read alot of great reviews for this game, but my opinion, the cut scenes are a cartoon, (lame), if your not exactly precise with your aim, you fall, or miss your target, some of the scenes you figure out just by getting lucky. I recieved this as a birthday present cause I dl. the demo and was interested, but for the price, I mush rather would have had another game. Don't get me wrong, the graphics, storyline and abilites are good, but I'm not that impressed. I like a challenging game, but not a game that you have to be SO precise with everything. If they make a sequal without any changes, I'm not getting it .

awful game/ not bad

ScrappyChace November 14, 2010

this game is not what i expected, not sure exactly where i got stuck on, but its a very challenging and difficult on easy difficulty, i got stuck on some parts of the game, it supposed to tell us exactly what to do, in some areas i couldnt go anywhere for 3 or 4 hours (basically spent 4 or 5 hours trying to figure it out) the only thing that i dont like about this game is that they dont give u more info just training at prologue but after that you are on your own, i had to use guides to get me thru the game, i wouldnt buy it, good thing i rented it from blockbuster
