Although the tortillas are far over priced in my opinion. They are an excellent find. I'm type II diabetic and tortillas or bread is on the " NO NO " list but since these are low in carbs, it is back on the list. Even though they are expensive, they are much welcomed in my house.
As a bariatric patient that has to been mindful with what they eat. These are the best carb balance, friendly keto whatever you wanna call it and the fact that they taste delicious and they don't taste rubbery or have that weird aftertaste these are gonna be my go to for now on
These are a great low carb option that doesn't taste like diet food. Texture is slightly dryer and less flexible than a traditional tortilla. At less than half the calories and 2 grams of carbs I don't notice the difference. The only barrier is the cost. There is absolutely no reason other than greed for these tortillas to be 2x the price.
Amazing! I am keto, and thanks to these tortillas, I can enjoy Mexican food again. I use them to make chicken and/or cheese enchiladas. In terms of seasoning, I will pick a green or red enchilada sauce. What I do is I take a casserole dish, spray with non-stick spray. Then, I put some enchilada sauce on the bottom of the dish. I take these low-carb tortillas and I fill with chicken or cheese. I roll them with the filling they are holding so they look like enchiladas. If you used chicken, it should be cooked first. I top with sauce. I cover the dish with the foil and bake like 30 minutes at 350° and then uncover, top with cheese, and cook for 10 more minutes. It’s super yummy low calories and they do not make me gain weight.
I absolutely love Mission Carb Balance Flour Tortillas! They’re soft, flexible, and taste just like regular tortillas—but with a fraction of the carbs. Whether I’m making breakfast burritos, wraps, or quesadillas, they hold up perfectly without breaking or getting soggy.
These are the low carb tortillas/wraps that we all wish we had 10-15 years ago when we started eating them! These are sooooo much better than what we had back then! I toast them folded in half and the put my favorite proteins and cheese and condiments in them. Mmmm!
Mission Carb Balance Flour Tortillas, Soft Taco Size, 8 Count These are very good, are great for chicken wraps, I also made a homemade hot pocket with egg, and cheese. Put in toaster oven, to toast a little came out delish. I like the fiber and calories count as well.
The best low carb tortillas out there, I've been eating for years. Warehouse clubs have better pricing on a two pack if you need a lot of them. They stay good for a long time. Cook them under your oven broiler to cut while hot into "low carb tortilla chips". Be careful how many you eat in one day (they have a lot of fiber).
I use one of these almost every day at lunchtime to make a chicken wrap. I had cheese, the chicken, sometimes red pepper strips, a thin slice of tomato and a bunch of spinach and arugula. So good. I could make a sandwich, but there would be more calories involved with bread. The tortilla is perfect size for me and perfect calories.
Only 2 carbohydrates per tortilla and 70 calories really can’t beat that. I use them for sandwiches and in the morning as toast for over easy eggs, very versatile! They are just a lot less in calories than bread, not to mention so much less than bread in carbohydrates!
