I bought my original Mission cooling hat at Home Depot, but they discontinued stocking it, so I went to my Walmart app and was pleased to find it. I got four good years out of comfort out of my first black one before it faded into a pleasant gray color. I finally lost it when I had to be rescued from a trail hike in the spring. I made a point of getting an exact replacement. The cooling feature is very nice to have when out in the Sun and heat, but I use it in the Winter , also when I just need to keep the top warm with a visor.

I love this hat! Admittedly, when I purchased it, I was unaware of its slightly cooler vented version, which I also purchased! when outside and sweating the feeling of the evaporation taking place is a cooling very welcomed! it will certainly keep you cooler than most hats!

I wore this hat for my marathon because the forecast called for rain. I poured some water on it during the run and it definitely felt cooler. It was comfortable and breathable.
