Love these gluten free corn tortillas! I like to put a few on a plate, cover with wet paper towel, then put in microwave for about 20 seconds, It makes them soft %26 pliable. I slather with warmed refried beans and cheese, roll into a burrito shape and enjoy!
These are perfect size for street tacos and Enchiladas. They are soft ,easy to work with and taste nice %26 fresh. They are a good healthy source of fiber. And if I can't use em all up for a recipe I wrap em in freezer proof bags to store in the freezer.
these tortillas are perfect just as good as homemade always fresh and flavorful and tender I use them in all my Mexican meals and fried tortilla chips.😋🥲😊
These tortillas are soft and taste pretty good. But I'm not writing a review about that. I'm writing because I don't know why it's so difficult to fine reference to actual measurements of the products where SIZE truly matters, like for instance, tortillas. These are 5 inches tortillas, but nowhere on the Walmart website description, or the product packaging itself reveal that these tortillas are 5 inches diameter. When you look at the specification section of the website, they list the size to simply be 25, which happens to be the 25 oz. weight of the package. Why?? In a perfect world, huh?
The tortillas broke at the fold when I tried to make quessadillas with mozzerella and kalamata olives tucked in to them. I make them on the stove top ever since my microwave blew itself up about ayear or so ago. Maybe they can be more flexible if I place s heavy utencil on them while the cheese begins to melt.
The first few orders of this product were excellent. Taste, texture, usage were all great. I have NO issues with this brand or product at all, but do with how I received my last pick-up order. Same product, 30 count, same price. My order was delivered since I am disabled and pay for this extra service. The tortillas came in a different package, or so I thought anyway. It was a 30-count with maybe another 50 tortillas stuffed into it on top of the thirty count. Huh?? Looking closer, the tortillas on top of the original 30, were torn up, some halved, some in threes, etc. NO idea what that was about, but have kept this package as is, in my fridge. I will not be eating this, fearing bare handed contact during this consolidation effort. Damaged is one thing, but packing torn up product on top of existing product?? Not acceptable. I will be posting photos soon, since I cannot drive to the store they were delivered from. Is this an issue with pick-up, the 'pickers' or my store in general?
I believe that they are making them thinner. I was trying to make enchiladas and they kept ripping on me especially when I was frying in in the deep fryer. I was so upset. I wasted my money on them and ended up throwing a good bunch of them away. Quality and quantity is going down and prices are going way up.
Product does not list size AT ALL ANYWHERE on the packaging or description, so the product I ordered for Enchiladas came as barely the size of a taco. LOVE THAT. Online description does not indicate AT ALL what the actual size or usage for it is. So now I have a stack of these that is absolutely useless and since I had it delivered, I will have to PAY MORE to have a a single item delivered again because I won’t need the minimum order. Nice little scam going there.
Every tortilla was ripped halfway down the middle and falling apart. Really messed up the tacos we made. I’m going to get a different brand next time.
These are softer than most corn tortillas that too often have arrived stale. But hese too were not good. Almost all of them are either torn or broken into unusable bits. I think too the responsibility is on the shopper. Ask yourself would I buy these? The answer should be a definite know.
