I don’t eat gluten so these tortillas are my go to for tacos and enchilada’s. I make an easy dipping sauce with 1/2 cup yogurt ( I use honey yogurt for this ) and add some Taco Bell hot sauce and sprinkle with taco seasoning. Makes a yummy addition to the taco baskets I make with these corn tortillas.
I love to make "Cheesy Tortillas in the Microwave. I just lay out a Mission Super Soft Yellow Corn Tortilla on a paper plate in the Microwave with a square of either cheddar or havarti cheese on top %26 heat up to 30 seconds (watching it melt). Then I take it our %26 roll it up for a very tasty treat to enjoy!
Tastes good. They do tear when you roll them for enchiladas if you don't heat them in foil first. But if they do tear, once you cover them in cheese and cook them, you can't tell that they are not neatly rolled.
Mission Yellow Corn Tortillas are really good, and im happy with everything about them. They make excellent Tacos, Burritos, apple Pie Desserts, tortilla chips. They're super soft, i also make Mexican casseroles with them, and add to Soups Etc. They're low sodium, have fiber, no sugar, low fat, and calories, they're a great staple to Irefrigerate to keep them fresh and ready to create Tasty recipes.
I love corn tortillas. I make mini quesadillas. I make enchiladas. And I even cut them in triangles 📐 and stir them in butter with garlic salt and pepper, then add eggs 🥚 scrambled with sharp cheddar cheese on top... Yummy 😋
Always good to have these Yellow Corn Tortillas on hand. This is a versatile food can use for quick tacos or making dishes like chilaquiles. Calories are similar to white bread. A good value.
they are the how do you say the most generic taste %26 flavor tortilla in the market i dont get all the hype as i see the sponsorship in Nascar NHRA events my taste buds say they are the dominos of the tortilla world but many people like dominos??? not my forte
there's a sweet taste to these tortillas that s unpleasant. they peel into layers, too, and are not at all "soft". WM customer service is getting a call from me, and the nirds and raccoons will be getting the tortillas . the great value brand is much better. choose GV instead.
I recommended these shells because typically they are pretty good. Not this time!!! They are not fresh at all. Hard, stinky, tearing up as soon as you pick them up, and it is very obvious that they are not gonna be something you are gonna be able to eat. I am gonna request a refund.
The majority of the tortillas were oddly perfectly sliced in half. When Mission tortilla company started making the Extra soft and Extra thin varieties they became mush in baked enchilada casseroles. They were oky if quarterd to make Migas but even then with the scarmabled eggs they just did not work out as well. I changed to a local Mexican tortill factory with typical consistency that will hold together in casseroles and to make tostada and taco shells.
