As a Type 1 Diabetic these are by far the BEST tortillas out there with low carbs (not zero for a T1D, we have to go off total cabs not net). They have GREAT taste and makes a perfect quesadilla with a bit of butter to toast it up!! Highly recommend to T1D's and also those looking for low or 0 net carbs!
I'm diabetic and avoid regular bread. These keep my glucose from rising fast. I make a wrap sandwich with one of these. Sometimes I sprinkle one with shredded cheese and an Italian seasoning, then bake it until the edges are golden. Then I fold and cut into wedges to eat with a meal or as a snack.
I've recently taken on an anti-inflammatory diet, cutting out white flour, so these tortillas made their way to my shopping cart. And I'm not even gonna lie, these things smell like dirt. But they actually taste pretty good. I was actually quite imoressed with how good they are, given the smell. I use these the same as I would any other wrap. Turkey, tacos, etc. The only thing I have found is they are more delicate than other wraps. I have to be more careful when rolling them.
As a diabetic bread was one of the things most missed. I was delighted to find these zero carb tortillas. Very versatile for making healthy versions of tortillas and sandwich wraps . Only downside is they are a bit pricey but will continue to buy as I am so happy to have sandwiches back in my life.
I made Carnitas Burritos last night using this product. The tortillas cooked evenly %26 stayed flexible. I filled them with homemade Carnitas, shredded cheese, Salsa, and after folding added more cheese, salsa, sour cream. My husband loved them, not noticing any difference in regular flour tortillas.
My husband has always been on a very strict diet and exercise regiment and we recently discovered these keto friendly tortillas. We've tried other keto alternatives before and you definitely taste what you're missing from traditional bread and tortillas. We picked the Mission keto tortillas to just try and see how they were. I am not keto and do not like most keto alternatives. But these tortillas were actually really good. They are full of flavor versus other keto options seriously lacking flavor. Paired with making burritos or tacos, you cannot tell it is a keto tortilla. You would think it was a normal tortilla. We're actually switching our son to the keto tortillas without him knowing and he has not figured out the difference. Very happy with our purchase and we will continue to buy keto tortillas by Mission.
Good tasting and helpful item for those on a diet. The downside is that the tortillas tend to stick together and tear up when you try to peel them apart. It would be nice for the manufacturer to use some sort of separation paper like how it is done to keep sliced cheese from sticking together.
My husband started the keto diet about 6 months ago. At first I was completely lost about what to make for him. This tortilla bridged the gap for taco night at the beginning of the journey. I have eaten a few myself, and I will say they don't taste as good as a regular tortilla, but they get the job done. They taste a touch earthy for lack of better words.
in the beginning i couldnt tell a difference, they were delicious compared to all the others, however, the lasy 2 times they've tasted like Cardboard just like every other "Low to No Carb Tortilla ". at what happened to the incredible softness they used to have, unless i just received Old Ones from the store (Outdated?)
I didn't order this and I would prefer to have what I order. If Walmart doesn't have the stuff people order they should call and ask them about substitutes before just doing it. Sometimes people can't eat things that are sent and have to return them. And then it's just a big fight trying to return it, because even though it's not my fault Walmart won't stand by what they did.
